I walked in at 8:55 PM to grab a headlight bulb and was out before 9:00 PM. One of the two cashiers was furious about that and made absolutely certain I knew it, more than once. The other cashier was professional.
If you don’t want customers in at 8:55 PM, close and lock the store at 8:50. Just a reminder, customers are the reason the store stays open.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. Just want to give a specific shout out to Charlie for the great work he does for customers. He was working hard as the only employee in the store at the time I was there.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at the AutoZone on 1240 UT-193 B in Layton, UT. My car hadn’t been starting, so I brought it in with my 6-year-old daughter and my girlfriend, feeling a little stressed. That’s when Jacob came to the rescue!
He quickly tested my battery, explained the situation clearly, and didn’t waste any time getting things sorted. But the real magic was when he installed the new battery like an absolute pro. Watching him work, you’d think he was a car-repair superhero! He was friendly, efficient, and made sure everything was perfect before we left.
What could’ve been a frustrating afternoon turned into a smooth, positive experience thanks to Jacob’s help. My daughter even said, “That guy’s really cool,” and she’s not wrong! If you ever need help at AutoZone, I hope Jacob is there to save the day like he did for us. Thanks again, Jacob—you’re a hero in our book! 👏

I came in to get a test done on my vehicle, the gray shirt looked very busy so I asked if anyone else was available and he snapped at me saying that he would get to me when he was finished. Then when he was available we walked out the doors and he saw that my car was just on the other side of the lot and he had me move it to the front of the store. And I also witnessed him give some guy a "Friend Discount" is what he said? Thats for our military and veterans. This guy belongs in an O'Reillys.

Today I came into the store for some mixed gas so I could uphold a promise to mow my ex’s fiancés lawn. Been struggling to start my new life since she left. Especially, financially. I’ve never been so down bad in my life. I’m not one to ask for help and I am usually the one to lend that hand. The reason I mention this is because this afternoon I didn’t have money to buy the gas. It was so embarrassing and I didn’t know what I was going to do.
I don’t know why but Ryker a 16 year old saint offered to pay for it. Of course I said I couldn’t accept that. Any other time in my 30 years I would’ve never accepted that. Today I needed that help more than I think he will ever understand. He restored my faith in humanity a ton today. Ryker my guy….you are amazing for that! Thank you for being my god send today.

Although I did not buy anything when I went to this location, Shannon the store manager helped me find the correct parts and was very descriptive of what parts were needed for my project. Great customer service and care.

John K. was so helpful when I came in needing to get my check-engine light assessed. I was pretty worried it'd be a big expense, but it's actually something minor. He even offered to not only sell me the part, but install the part. You don't see service like that as much anymore... he deserves recognition. Thanks so much, Auto Zone!
