I was super excited when BofA finally came to Utah because I've been using them for 25 years. The Manager has greeted me with sincere politeness every time I have gone into the bank and immediately notified whoever I had an appointment with that I was there. It has been an A+ experience so far and I definitely plan to continue coming here. I will say, this is more of a go online and make an appointment location. So far, the longest I have waited to be helped was 3 minutes, but I did have an appointment. To anyone that reads this, before just walking in, I highly advise you go online and book an appointment if you need to do anything that will require time...like setting up a new account. I don't remember everyone's name I interacted with, but I would definitely like to give a shout out to Lucy for all the help getting my accounts set up and answering all my questions, and to Shay and the rest of her team for assisting me with my deposits and transfers!

ATM couldn't process a cash withdrawal and didn't say why. Primitive.

Apparently exchanging money for quarters is a member only thing. I've been all over the country and used bofa dozens of times but this one is different I suppose. Do yourself a favor leave the this garbage bank and go across the street to U.S. Bank.P.S. yall suck fat ones ?

It's an Okay bank but they need to stay open longer. They're losing business by closing at 4PM.

This branch has had a personnel change and is awesome, friendly, and super helpful! I was seen within five minutes to open an account.

This bank branch is barely staffed- it took over 20 min to get help with a simple cash withdrawal because I left my bank card at home. Looks nice on the outside, but terrible level of service inside.

I worked with Shaye Derryberry and she was AMAZING!! She did not rush me and she went above and beyond to address my needs. She told me that branch has made major changes in the past few weeks to bring in new staff based upon previous issues with customer service. As I read through past comments I can definitely see why there was staff changes. Since this was my first visit to the Layton branch I cannot speak of past issues but I can 100% say that the experience I just had was top-notch!! Thank you, Shaye!

Worst banking experiences ever with this branch. Lived in St Louis and banked with them for 5 years without any issues. Moved here, and based on several experiences, I am taking my money elsewhere. When I first moved here, they botched up a $500 deposit that took weeks to fix without them taking any responsibility. Had to get documents notarized with a deadline and got the run around. Arturo is a notary but told me he wasn’t working in the bank in that capacity that day and that he moved to the Clinton branch and there would be no notary there in the future. He advised me to go to the Clinton branch the following Monday. He also said that I could go to UPS, but I had 3 documents, and they charge $10 a piece. I was on a time line for submittal, but my lawyer said that Monday would work. So I left work early, drove to Clinton, only for Arturo not to be there , and told the notary who was there could likely get to me in 90 minutes. They also mentioned UPS. When I complained, they said Wells Fargo does it for free. Went to Wells Fargo, and the personnel there were super helpful. Bye, Bye Bank of America. Never, ever will I bank with you or recommend you again.

WARNING!! The bank it’s self is not an issue. I’ve been through several Bank Of America’s and had great experiences. HOWEVER! This Layton, UT. Branch is in big trouble. Arturo! Please remember the name Arturo. He is a horrible manager. He is almost excited to turn people away for things I feel could take a second look and perhaps find a solution. They always use not having enough employees as an excuse to not be able to help you open up an account. Arturo is lazy and does not like helping people at all. Go in and see for yourself. We need to contact corporate and let them know that this branch is in danger of losing more and more potential clients. Arturo is very rude when he sees you are frustrated.
