I unfortunately needed to use the CVS pharmacy, store #10662, Fort Lane, Layton UT. I had a very unpleasant interaction with the on duty pharmacist, Ashley Sutton, RPH. I explained to her that I called ahead at 11 am and again at 3:30 pm. to inquire as to the availability of my prescription. I was told that it would be ready for pickup at 4:30 pm. I arrived at 6 pm and was told that it was not ready and that I would need to wait. She informed me that they were busy and that I would have to wait. Although, when I initially walked up to the counter, she and two other employees stood at a back counter talking. Not one of these employees asked me if I needed help. Eventually, a different employee, Luke, came to the counter and helped me. I asked to speak to the pharmacist for an explanation as to the unavailability of my prescription.Ms. Sutton was indifferent, apathetic, and rude. She was annoyed that I asked for an explanation. I hope that the CVS corporate office uses this review as an opportunity for coaching and development of their customer service standards that are expected in order to maintain civility, courtesy, and respect.

Wow!! Here I am sitting in my car because I was turned away at 9:54! The lady was standing just inside the door. She said "I'm sorry hun but we just closed." What?? Google says 10. I'm pissed off! Seriously so so upset.

i don't know what the deal is with this particular store but it seems to be a mess. once a month or so ago my wife and i walked in and there were several display racks knocked over and product all over the floor with no cashier up front. looked like the cashier got pissed off trashed the place and left. more recently ip picked up a prescription that was supposed to be for ninety days but they only gave me thirty days worth. i didn't notice at the time but when i called to get it refilled i found out it wasn't eligible. i went in to the pharmacy and that's when they told me they had charged my insurance for ninety day supply but only gave me thirty days worth. now how does that even happen. their system showed charging for ninety but only giving thirty day. wth. so i had to wait for half an hour for them to figure out how to remedy the situation. had to do a refund and then recharge me even though their system should've showed them having too much in their inventory. i worked retail for 16 yrs. it's an easy solution. any way, next i called in a refill which i was told would be ready by 2 p.m. that day however two days later when i went to pick it up im told they didn't have any thing ready. another 20 min wait for a script that should've been ready. they are having some serious issues and im on the search for a diff pharmacy.

There is a serious problem at this store with the length of time it takes their pharmacy to process orders for people. The lines outside and inside are horrificly long and it seems like they never have enough people processing people in the lines. Something is wrong at this place that needs to be fixed. I have only been here once when the line wasn’t long and on that occasion they didn’t have the controlled prescription i needed. My word! What is the deal?

Clearly staff do not understand HIPAA laws, as the individual talking to the pharmacist laughed so loudly regarding my prescription and yelled to me whether or not I would actually pay the cost, that the family next to me talked about it. My personal information is not available to the public and was not protected, as it should be by law, by this pathetic pharmacy. Please contact corporate if you face the same issue.

Why people are allowed to wait in the drive thru for prescriptions is just beyond me, I've seen a line of cars wrapped around that building twice go inside then you have a line halfway through the store because of that line outside.

I have never been to a slower pharmacy. Every single time I go to pick up my 1 prescription, I've had to wait in line upwards of 20-30 minutes. The workers don't seem to be trying to get things out the front desk or the drive through very fast. And they text me to tell me my prescription is ready, then it's not ready when I get there and it takes them 30 minutes to get it ready. I really don't understand why any of this takes so long. A trip to the pharmacy has to be scheduled into my day because I have to make sure I have enough time to waste standing in line.

Horrible service at this location. I have been using this pharmacy for 4 years and every single month they miss one of my prescriptions. Each time we pick up we have tried to resolve the issue with the tech's and pharmacists but its a new problem every pick up. I will never use this pharmacy again.

I was in line to get my prescription at 4:58 pm An employee came by and said we are closed and locked the gate, everyone waiting was out of luck. He verified that the prescription was called in and ready but would not give it to me. It would have taken him 1 minute to ring it up. Unfortunately the closest CVS pharmacy that is still open is 30 miles away. I need the prescription because I am I'll and in no condition to drive another 30 miles

This place is ridiculously understaffed for their patient load. There is always a line. Staff is stressed out. Patients are unhappy. Whoever manages this place needs to consider a different career.

They've got some employees that will steal from your prescriptions and since obviously when you get home you have no proof they do nothing.

I like to get my prescriptions from a well-organized place like this I never have to wait really and I've also got my vaccinations there and a very friendly staff and helpful as well

We went to get robitussin without the dm for your dog. Her vet told us to get that for her cough. We went to CVS and we looked for several minutes in the adult and child meds. We finally asked if they had what we needed and the pharmacist was very helpful and told us a couple of other options that we could use that are dm free. Very helpful.
