Pre-Paid cash for gas and ended up having to go back inside and remind the cashier to authorize/reset the pump. . . And he was nowhere to be found for about five minutes. Slowest refueling at an open pump that I can remember.
At least he was sincerely apologetic.

I really like that they have a Subway in this location. I can order a sandwich online, gas up then walk in grab a beer or two and my sandwich all in one stop. This is pretty cool on those days I really just want to go to sleep

I rate 1 star bc there graveyard shift people are extremely rude,they make me feel uncomfortable and make me feel like an idiot for trying to make small talk when I'm checking out.. I didn't used to be like that. So thanks speedway.. I will not ever shop there again.. and I recommend that people should avoid the Layton speedway and just go to the 711 down the street.

I saw an old lady with long gray hair that was smoking through the subways drive through window a week ago. Then the same old lady yelled at me today and was saying very rude things to me when the gas pump didn’t work well. When I complained about her , she told me that she doesn’t care because she’s an assistant manager. Clearly not a good one. Her name is Julie or Julia. I hope the speedway manager learns how to pick a person to be an assistant manager, sometime very soon.

Love coming here when I come down to visit my daughter,grand babies & son in law. Such a nice lovely store & so are the employees. The atmosphere is also quite nice & peaceful!!!!

Lazy, ignorant cashier refused to get change out of the safe which was right next her. So apparently my cash is not good enough for their employee to take, unless it’s under $40 and I use debit/credit. Just got told Maverick actually has a policy they can’t deny anyone change that is using cash even if it’s .10 they are spending and they give $100 bill. I will never step foot into this Speedway location again thanks to that ignorant cashier! Companies and their Employees need to remember who helps keep them working! It’s us, you know… the actual people that spend money at their business! This is another reason AI is going to take over jobs like this too! Computers don’t have attitude problems, nor do they get to pick and choose who is good enough to provide service to.
