It’s irritating that I sign up on line, show up, willing to wait. But I go take calls for 20 mins, as I was told it’s roughly 30 min wait. Come in, the list has NEW people on it (yes I paid attention to names) but I’m still at the bottom, waiting room fuller, and Was told when I came back in the wait is still about 30 mins. Wasted my break time.

I'm 50 and not worried about being attractive anymore. My hair has thinned out on top and all I want is a super short buzz cut.
Of course I can use clippers at home, what I can't do is clean up the neckline, and take care of all the details like the eyebrows getting out of hand, and the sideburns and the contour around the ears. Every month I have to come into Great clips so they can make me look human again.

I arrived for a hair cut this morning. I was waiting for Mariah. I was first on the list when she called another persons name. I thought she was taking him back but she corrected the situation. Then she started giving me dirty looks. She had my attention because I was next in line so obviously I was looking her direction waiting for her to call my name. She continues to give me nasty side eye looks. I decided that I was now not comfortable with her cutting my hair so when she did decide to call my name, I told her that I’d decided to wait for another employee. She because irritated and called the next man. I told her I didn’t appreciate her attitude and dirty looks. She said she, “didn’t like that I was staring at her.” Well, sweetheart, don’t flatter yourself. I was only waiting for my name to be called so I could have my hair cut. Then, another man steps up to me and starts to verbally chastise me all while every employee just stands there watching him. I, justifiably so, get irritated, and tell him this situation didn’t concern him as I didn’t do anything wrong, and he could take himself elsewhere if he didn’t like it. The conversation became heated. Profanity was shared. Cops were called and I get trespassed because Mariah thinks I was “staring” at her. I asked for the GM’s name and number, I asked for the franchise owners info. The employees refused. I’ve gone to this location since it’s opening date and had never been treated so unprofessionally. Mariah has constantly had a negative attitude towards customers and other employees, and I’ve blown it off. Now her true colors have come forward. Regardless of the “trespass” notice being issued I will never, and my family will never frequent this location ever again. I will be notifying the franchise owner somehow of the unprofessional conduct of not only the stylists on duty today but the general manager and how she handles hostile situations when it comes to her employees.

I went far too long in between haircuts this last time. As a result, I was looking like the Shaggy dog from those old Disney movies. I went into Great Clips and they had me fixed up in no time at all. The even taught me how to style my hair correctly (so I didn't have to have my mommy come over every morning to comb my hair) for the first time in my 45 years of existence. Great Clips hooked me up with knowledge and all kyne a zduff! I will be back!
