I went to Great Clips For Lane location and the stylist took me to her station, so she could take care of everything. I explained that I have frozen shoulder and that I’d really appreciate a wash and trim, and if she wouldn’t mind putting my hair in a ponytail and braid. She said, “Sure, no problem.”
She washed my hair and then gave me this little mini scalp massage — rubbed my temples and was just really thoughtful. She just took her time. She didn’t seem rushed or irritated. She let me talk and vent while she worked, and in between she was explaining how important self-care is for women and how she wished more people would take time for themselves like that.
She trimmed my hair exactly the way I wanted, parted it the way I like, and put it into the high ponytail I’d asked for. She even asked if I wanted her to blow dry my roots so it wouldn’t take long — She really understood what I needed.
Before I left, she said, “Please come back — shampoos are only $6, and if you come in once a week, any of us would be happy to put it in a ponytail for you. We don’t mind at all.” That meant so much.
I appreciated her time and consideration, because not everybody gives that. She explained that the road goes both ways — stylists get talked to rudely all the time — so it was just as much of a pleasure for her to serve me. I also noticed the attentiveness of the other stylists. It was a welcoming atmosphere and I'll be back. Thank you so much. I wish I had gotten her name. I went in Saturday, August 16th. After 12. And to mention they were slammed and everyone was so nice.

Friendly service, but they literally took 5-7 minutes to cut my hair. When I got home and could actually see my hair, it was uneven. Worst haircut I have ever had.

Set up an appointment online. Was texted to come in - it was my turn. Get to the door and they are closed. No sign. Nothing. This is 1 o’clock on a Thursday afternoon. I took time off of work. Time wasted.

Shelby cut my hair a few weeks ago and did a perfect job. My hair always needs thinned out and layered and I love the way it feels and looks. She was so darling and fun to talk to.

Great clips always has such kind aestheticians that are a pleasure to chat with. You will be in the chair for a few minutes, but it passes so quickly and pleasurably. They understand when you are trying to just get in and out, or when you need a little socializing and are able to provide that service efficiently
