Went in to get some of those 7 gal totes but they’re not at the $2.50 each price point currently. Bummer!

They block sections in the middle of the day and refuse to get you what you need from those areas.

My husband was just in this location wanting to buy a new lawn mower. He knew which one he wanted. Not less than THREE different employees came by asked what he wanted and NEVER came back. He was waiting for at least 30 minutes. He finally walked out! Way to go Home Depot! It wasn't even busy!! You lost a customer!!

I stopped by today looking to purchase a refrigerator. I was told that nothing is available: preorder or make a purchase online. Is this normal? I will have to remember this when I need a refrigerator or possibly any appliance.

Today, I was trying to talk to someone on the telephone at Home Depot in Layton to find out if they have sand bags for flood control. After being transferred from one telephone to another 8 or 10 times for 15 minutes, I finally gave up and will go somewhere else.

Dave in customer service was very helpful with my transaction. It's people like him that keep me coming back to the Layton Home Depot and restore some faith in humanity.

Ken at the Pro Desk does not help or support contractors. I used the bid room in Centerville to buy some laminate flooring as well as a bunch of different items. They were 11 boxes short of what I needed, but I didn't think I would need them within the timeframe in which they would come in, so I took them. After 2 weeks, they were still not in (no fault of the Centerville Home Depot). Layton had 212 boxes in stock, so I went and talked to Ken at the Pro Desk to see if he would give me the 11 boxes at the discounted price to fulfill the rest of the order and allow me to finish the project that day. He said no, that he would get fired for giving me the discount. I had to buy them at full price to get the job done and get paid.
Home Depot should be consistent; it should not matter which store you go to. The service at Lowe's is much better, and they are more flexible. I bought the cabinets for the remodel from there, and after 1 week, the corner cabinet was still not in. The woman at the Lowe's Pro Desk called around to 3 different stores to confirm it was in stock, then set it up for me to pick up without any hassle. Good job, Lowe's; bad job, Ken and Home Depot.

I don't normally shop at Home Depot, but they happened to have a part that my regular hardware store didn't carry. I was impressed with how easy it was to find what I needed.
Unlike other hardware stores, there weren't a bunch of workers around looking for opportunities to help, so I am grateful that the setup was straight forward.
