Just recently purchased some Birkenstocks at the Layton Journeys and I had a $10 off coupon I wanted to use, the girl scanned my barcode and then said I wasn’t working.. it deleted off my account so i couldn’t let her scan it. I told her I wanted to use it on the purchase and she said “well I don’t know how to help you if I can’t scan it” luckily I had more than one coupon but now I can’t use my one because it deleted off my account 🙄 she was not helpful and didn’t seem to care about good customer service. I didn’t get a name but the receipt says salesperson 742755 if this helps. I have had more than one bad experience at this location and I probably won’t be coming back to this location..

I ordered a pair of Dr. Martens that I was so excited to receive, got them in the mail yesterday and the wrong pair was shipped from MN. No big deal right? I'll just reorder them...except that they're limited edition and sold out everywhere, are no longer in stock online, nor are they going to carry them again. I called customer service and was told exactly that - no more shoes in stock, the best I could do was take my wrong order to my local store (Layton Hills Mall) and get a refund. Walked in today on my lunch and spoke with Sav who not only FOUND me a magical pair that customer service apparently couldn't see, or didn't care to look for - but helped me order said pair, as well as return the wrong shoes I received. Sav went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me and I can't express how grateful I am for her help! Sav literally made my day! Thank you so much again, I can't wait to get my Wednesday Docs!!

Today was a great experience at Journeys!!! The Manager was so helpful to find the shoes I was interested in and that would be the right fit for my style. Kendallyn went above and beyond by bringing out some waterproofing spray that will keep my shoes looking new for a longer time!! Than to top it all off, she mentioned the sock sale, 2 for $20, so now I am set for awhile!! Definitely a great experience!!

I worked with the manager, I think she said her name was sav, and she was absolutely amazing!! With back to school starting the mall was crazy and so was the store, but she took time to help me with my last minute shopping & helped me get the perfect shoes for my kiddos (and new socks which we’ve been needing🙏🏼). Will definitely be coming back!

I never leave negative reviews, but my experience at this store was disappointing enough to share. The biggest issue was with the staff—specifically employees named Sav and Kendalynn?—whose lack of professionalism and poor work ethic were evident throughout my visit. Communication was minimal, customer concerns were dismissed, and the overall atmosphere reflected a lack of leadership and accountability. It seemed as if their out of work life was more important. It’s clear that stronger management and a more customer-focused approach are needed for this store to succeed. No slight to the Journey’s store itself, I will just be shopping there when they aren’t present.

Best shoe shopping experience I've had. I walked in convinced to buy one shoe but Paris completely changed my mind with a few very helpful suggestions. Her deep knowledge of each brand and their unique qualities blew us away. Give that girl a raise!!

Went in to pick up an online order, then was told my order was never received and didn’t know where my order was… BUT the lovely ladies that helped me gave me my money back and ordered my the same shoes for a lower price!! Thank you Emma & Lucas for all your help! You guys are awesome!

I tried to return shoes I had for less than a week, I had the recipe information and box but was told I couldn't because i had worn them. They had a little dirt at the bottom which could be brushed off and some lint inside. The guy was nice but the lady was rude. Never going back.

Horrible customer service. Brushed off my questions and basically told me to do it myself or use their website. Too busy chatting with friends to help a customer out. Will take my buisness somewhere else.

I did not know that the stores close before the mall and had only looked up mall hours. The stores all seemed to close an hour early. I felt bad going on right before closing but the young man working there 09/22/22 was so kind and helped us with everything we needed. I wish I would have gotten his name. Thank you for being a light in the short staffed world!
