I live in Utah and car broke down in Las Vegas. Had to get a new fuel pump ($900) there then drive home. Part broke down after 11 months, took a while to get it towed back in to an Utah location to fixed under warranty. Missed warranty window by 2 days, they honored the part but not the labor ($275). Mechanic said the original fuel pump they used to replace it was the lowest quality (which means we overpaid in Vegas) and for the warranty work they replaced it with a more med grade part. Seems like Meineke is a shop that depends on what tech/location = what kind of quality repair you’ll get, sometimes great other times highway robbery. At least they are a chain that the warranty followed wherever we got it repaired. Prob not going back

My 1st time trying this place. Great customer service, got my oil change done in a timely manner. Also, I really like their system with their invoices and inspection sheets. I have never been anywhere where they give you detailed information about everything they looked at while doing your oil change not only that but they also posted pictures!! Definitely will be coming back to this place and recommending it to others!

!!BE WARNED!!My engine was making a horrid sound. I researched that the cause was likely failing bearings of the tensioner wheel on the timing belt.I called and spoke with Rachelle (11/10/23) for a quote to repair the timing belt & tensioner pulley. (taking notes on my laptop during the call) Here's the breakdown she gave me:Labor $165/hr. 5hrs total labor for $825.The tensioner was $62 & the belt was $125.I asked how much a water pump was since they were already going to be in there and that was an additional $123 for the part. She said since they were already in there, the 3hrs labor for THAT job would not be additional, because it's the same labor to get to that job. Makes perfect sense. She told me it would be $1,200 (and change) "out the door" for ALL OF IT. I've had bad experiences in the past and learned to cover all the bases over the phone before doing ANYTHING. So I asked specifically:"Once the work is done, I'm not going to have any additional charges like shop fees or anything like that am I?" and she assured me "No, it's built into the quote already".We also discussed a "diagnosis", which she said was a minimum 1hr fee of the $165/hr rate. I specifically asked her:"I know most places won't work on your vehicle without doing their own diagnosis... I'm only wanting you guys to look at this specific area of my vehicle and the sound is INSIDE the engine at the area of the job I'm being quoted, so if your diagnosis ends up being what I already asked you to do, will the $165 diagnosis fee go towards the labor for that job?" She assured me that yes, it would be credited towards the labor. She told me the only instance in which the diagnosis fee would be a separate fee is if they start doing it and found other problems than the job I am being quoted for. I gave the verbal go ahead with full faith that no shenanigans were going to take place.(11/13/23) Ryan called to inform they had diagnosed my Van with a stethoscope and they "Think it's your water pump." I explained to Ryan my thoughts that it was a bad bearing on the pulley for the belt, and he understood. He said he would call me back after they got it opened up.When Ryan called back he said that the pulley wheel was bad and was broken into two pieces. He also said that since the water pump was going to be replaced the shop would need to flush my coolant system to clean it out, and that all of this would total over $1,800!!!!I was blown away, and right then and there knew they were playing me. I told him that I recently replaced the coolant lines and had flushed the entire system myself and it definitely did not need a flush. He came back with a lower price of over $1,500 this time and when I asked him why the amount was still so much higher than what I was quoted Monday, he said:"It looks like Rachelle didn't add the gasket for the water pump on, so that's an additional $30. She also didn't add the pulley into the quote but there is a kit that has all the components in it for $420.98. If all the parts were ordered separately they would be over $600."I also had him go check about the diagnosis fee going towards the labor since it was part of what I asked for and the whole thing Rachelle assured me of. He came back and CONFIRMED it would be credited towards the labor. I was driving during this phone call so I couldn't take notes or do the math. But I said go ahead. My wife went to pay & pick up the van. She was given the old parts back in the box for the new kit. It's a Duralast Timing Belt Component Kit WP295K1E, which is only $188.99 on Autozone for my exact vehicle! THEY PRICE GOUGED THE PARTS.Also, they STILL charged the $165 diagnosis fee separately AND tried to sneak in $50 shop fees! She convinced them to remove that fee but they would not budge on the diagnosis fee. This is a disgrace and you should be ashamed. But you aren't' because sadly, this is standard practice. I would have happily been a retu

Super friendly front counter associate Rachelle, knowledgeable and helpful. Only complaint, is the mechanics didn't ask me if I wanted to buy a new air filter and on my report it says I need one and it's dirty! But I definitely recommend them, fast oil change, friendly service, and great prices!!Service: Oil change
