  Carly is amazing. I come from out of state to have her groom my shihtzu. She's is so sweet, caring, gentle, quick, and incredibly talented. I trust her over anyone to groom my little princess.

  I was happy to see all of the cats had been adopted for the day. Their fish displays are fun to look at, the store is well organized, and they have a variety of animals to adopt.

  We enjoy shopping at Petco? I went in to pickup an online order for a pet stroller. I was not quite aware of how the process worked within their store. They will send you an email when your order is ready, it takes approximately 1 hour for it to process in their system and show that you have paid then let's the employees know with one of their devices that an order has been placed and needs to be ready for pickup. When I arrived to pick up the stroller it was not ready because I didn't understand the proces but the cashier at the front desk looked up my information and then immediately went to get my stroller and process it. She was very nice and helpful even though at first I was a little frustrated because it didn't give me the discount that I was supposed to get. She did tell me you are not allowed to stack coupons. Needless to say with the already marked down price online and the holiday sale coupon, I only paid $112 total for a stroller that was regularly priced $145 and probably would have cost me about $165 to get out the door. Our puppy loves the toys that he gets to pick from Petco! We are on the repeat delivery service with his dog food which gives us a discount and is so convenient to have it delivered to the front door. Petco is where we will continue to shop.

  My 9 month old cat hissed at the vet…. Therefore her shots couldn’t be done. They didn’t even give her a chance. She’s so sweet. You can’t give her a couple mins to get settled? They accused her of getting ready to attack. We made an appt at a different place and they assured us they will try before putting her out. Safety is number 1 but zero effort was made.

  genuinely the worst petco i have ever been too for grooming. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!!! they don’t listen to how the CUSTOMER wants their pet cut and do whatever they want. I have a small maltipoo with the cutest curly hair and they shaved her down to the BRIM didn’t even cut or buff her nails and she smells the exact same as she did when i picked her up she looks like a naked cat…. Charging people $90 and over for the job that they do is absolutely INSANE!!!!!!!!! Stupid groomer lady was lucky we even gave her a $5 dollar tip at all they have horrible attitudes and they’re all trash at pet haircuts and need some serious training done on listening to the customer, last i check she was MY dog NOT petco’s!!!!! If i could give this place no stars I WOULD!!!!!! WE DESERVE A FULL REFUND

  I had the best experience with the Layton store, I went it to get some food for a friends bearded dragon and the store manager Miranda was so quick to help me after she had to help the cashier get the line down, she even suggested different food to try for the little beardie. She was a saint and really helped a lot with my friends questions and I’d suggest this store to anyone. Yes we were bummed we had the wrong size tank for the little guy but we are so happy petco has someone who is so smart and well versed in animals! Lets hope petco hires more like her!

  Always clean and fully stocked. I am docking a star today due to the fact that nobody was there to assist me at checkout. There were several people in the store, but no employees to be found on the floor. Was disappointed that there wasn’t even a bell or anything to notify the employee, nor was there a sign stating that they would be right back or like the sort. The girl didn’t even apologize after I waited for about 5 minutes. I wish the customer service was friendlier and that there was better communication between employees and customers…

  We had one employee that was pretty rude. So we went to the front and grabbed a new one and she was amazing with my daughter and myself.

  Payed $80 to have my dog bathed, got her back and I don’t think they washed her at all. She smells worse her fur was not brushed, nails were not trimmed, and fur is dirty. Would not recommend to anyone.
