Purchased very expensive clippers from the Layton store as a birthday gift. Once opened the item was defective. I called Sally’s to see if they could be exchanged, they referred me to call customer service who stated “sorry nothing we can do”I chose to reach out to the manufacturer who stated they need the original receipt. Our receipt got damaged when it fell out of our car into a water puddle and was ineligible.I then called Sally’s again and asked that they reprint my receipt. The manager stated, “I have it here in my system but I can’t reprint it. You should learn to properly take care of your receipts next time” and laughed.Horrible service on the CS line and at the local store. We’re now out $300 on an item we didn’t even get to use.

Not knowledgeable about ethnic hair care products. Very small collection. I was disappointed with how they treated customers differently.

I visited the Layton store today looking for a hair scarf. I had purchased a headscarf there previously. I could not find the head scarf on the rack. I went to the two representatives at the sign and described his scars… They weren’t much help. Then finally ‘I’ suggested that they look online. One of the clerk looked online we found his scarf. I asked the clerk to call the Farmington store. They called the Farmington store very quickly that store said they didn’t have it. You have a sales rep in the store suggested I order it online… And I told her I did not really want to order it online I need it for tonight. Anyway frustrated I left the store. I went to my car and decided to look online for myself at the different locations. I was planning to make phone calls. But then I saw an option where it would tell you if they had the car in a particular store. Lo and behold they had the scarf at the bountiful store and the Harrisville store. Now I don’t know why the sales clerks could not have use that option… Have they been trained? I found it very easily and it would save us a lot of headaches. It was very simple it showed every store in the Utah area… And their inventory for that particular scarf.

I love all the staff except a girl named Jen . She is very rude . And gives me all the wrong advice on their products I really don’t understand how she is working there . When I go to the store and see her I instantly leave . The manager is absolutely amazing and makes my experience wonderful.

Rude staff everytime I have gone in my last 5 trips over the past 6months (aside from one very kind girl that tried to talk to me, but was cut-off and overridden/outshadowed by another unkind staff that gave me terrible advice I luckily knew better than to follow). Especially this Sunday night's staff on 4/25 ?. I recommend going to the Syracuse or Clinton locations because I've genuinely never had a bad experience at either. If anything the staff told me they were unsure - but I'd prefer that to faked advising. LAYTON LOCATION BLOWS.

This place I give 5 stars to the very helpful ladies who helped me pick out color for my hair tonight. They were engaged in what I was saying I wanted my hair to look like and even checked the back for products to ensure I had everything I needed. I liked the selection of hair products. 5 stars for really great and amazing service from the ladies with the fun hair colors, definitely will go back. Pricing is affordable.

Sally was fine they have a lot of items back in stock again which is nice. I was fixing to place an order online because they never had anything in the store since covid began but they had quite a bit of stock back in today. The girl that was there today was very helpful and patient with all of my questions. Oh and they are taking returns again as well. But I don't know how long that will be for so I am writing this review update January 28th of 2021.

Sally Beauty is the place I always go to get hair dye, and I've dyed my hair multiple times. Their prices are great and not to expensive. The employees are very kind, and the store is very clean. Their products are amazing as well. This store deserves a five star. I can never find anything wrong with it!
