Savers? More like spenders

Easily 5 stars if they had fitting rooms or a decent return policy. As it is at best I can exchange clothes after buying them and that's it. I had planned to buy a lot of clothes, but without being able to try them on first- no way. Otherwise it's a very clean, good store with many desirable well priced items. It's all wasted potential though because I doubt I'll go again if I can't try clothes on before buying.

Very frustrated with the recent changes to Savers pricing structure, especially with books. It used to be that all kids books were either $1.29 or .99. Now, books are priced with all different prices, with some even being almost $5! With some of the books, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason why the price was so high. There were books that were damaged, ripped or written in for almost the same price that you could buy it brand new at a regular store! Also, because of the new pricing structure, the “Buy 4 get one free” deal, is not as convenient as it once was because you have to rummage through to find books that are priced the same to make it worth it. (I saw so many differently priced books .99, 1.29, 1.49, 1.99, 2.49, 2.99, 3.49, 3.99, 4.99 etc.) It totally took the fun out of the experience! Because of the many different prices, it makes it tedious to look through them instead of just buying a whole bunch of books because they are all priced the same. It was time consuming and frustrating. I used to spend hundreds of dollars at a time on books at Savers, but will no longer do that because of these changes. Im not even sure I’ll go back if it stays this way. I was super frustrated with my most recent experience there, and actually left a stack of about 50 books at the checkout because it was not in my budget to buy them. I put all of the ones priced over $1.49 back. That’s a lot of books you could have sold that I walked away from.I know a lot of teachers that used to purchase books for their classroom library at Savers, but you have now effectively priced teachers out of the ability to build their classroom libraries for a reasonable price. So sad.I also thought it was ridiculous when I saw a Valentines vase exactly like one that I got last year at the DOLLAR STORE selling for $5.49!! What is Savers doing? Considering that all items are donated, I feel like the store is just being greedy and ridiculous. It’s my belief that people should actually SAVE money at Thrift Stores… especially at a place called SAVERS.Signed, a very disappointed and unhappy customer. ?

Their prices are just way too high (and sometimes more than new). They also don’t have a fitting room so that just really makes clothes shopping there impossible. There can be some really good things there though.

This location is really hit or miss. Sometimes you can find really incredible stuff priced very fairly... Other times things are marked up to a ridiculous degree. They sell jewelry that's broken for way more than they should and it's not always economical to shop here. It's disappointing because the high prices make it harder for people in need to find the things that they need and want

I've been donating and shopping here for years, but after my last visit I think I'm done. The fact that your prices have gone way up in that the last year has completely turned me away. You receive all your products for free but price your items so high that I might as well buy new. The point of thrift stores is to help people that can't afford new items.

I LOVE this store! The place is staffed mostly by younger folks, that every hair color under the sun couldn't do justice to their hair colors. But these people are so very nice, and so very helpful, Savers has quickly become my favorite place to shop. And I feel like I'm doing my part in saving the items I buy here from a landfill. Therefore, helping improve the climate. The prices are great for the most part. Every once in a while, I'll see a knick knack for $3.99 that I know is from Dollar Tree that was originally priced at $1.25. But for the most part, Savers is a great place to shop and score some great deals on collectibles, antiques, and vintage clothing.

I’ve been coming to Saver for like 20 years. I grew up in DI clothes, and then discovered Savers. Utah has its second hand clothing market figured out. Picked up this sick flannel for $6.

The pricing here is just crazy! These items are donated for free and they get priced as if the donator will receive consignment. Not an affordable thrift store

Smelled bad, really pale lightning that makes you feel like you're in a hospital, and we didn't even know they had no dressing rooms until we had a full cart of stuff. Can't even return for cash, just credit. They had an okay selection, though.

You seeking work here at this store go somewhere else, first they don't pay on time for orientation and then when you go see your check they tell you, you have to wait til the store is open with a very rude attitude and when you go in for one day at work they let do all the job while Barry and Nathan are horse playing with other people while you do the job by yourself

This place has become pricey. I remember coming here for back to school clothes and getting a lot of clothing for me and my siblings for under $100. Recently I came here to look for some athletic t-shirts for work and they were asking $18 to $25 for some of the shirts I looked at. And I told my brother, I'm sorry but I don't want to pay that much for a shirt that someone else has worn before me. I think I'll go to Target or Walmart and get a new shirt for that price. I'm not very happy with this place. I'll try Di or Goodwill where they have more reasonable prices for being a thrift stores.
