We all have bad days don’t get me wrong. But after seeing Michelle’s post of Julie, the pharmacist, I wanted to note some things. Standing in line waiting to get my own prescription I was in awe at the whole situation. Julie was doing her best (from what it looked like) to explain what was going on, while Michelle was blowing up at her. (I don’t know what they were talking about specifically as I was waiting by the “Please Wait” sign. I just saw Michelle’s post and her face and recognized her from that day.) I, myself, would have lost it and gone haywire. She just stood there yelling at that poor pharmacist and I had to walk away and come back to get my prescription or I would have intervened. However, I did want to respect the woman’s privacy that was picking up so I left.
Whenever I have any questions about a medication, side effects, etc. I usually feel pretty stupid asking about things. Julie however makes me feel like I am not asking stupid questions and she is always very kind towards me and my husband when we pick up. Her and all the other pharmacists I feel bend over backwards to always help me and my husband when we are in a bind. Seeing that review, I knew I had to let everyone know that these pharmacists are wonderful people. We all have bad days. Sometimes people are rude, patient or pharmacist/ pharmacy technician. But that doesn’t mean we should try and belittle them on the internet.
Big thank you to everyone who works there! You guys are awesome!

Horrible customer service. The pharmacist Julie made me feel like a criminal just because medicine that I needed filled was on back order at my other pharmacy, so I came to Smith's to fill it. When I called they told me on the phone it could be filled when I drove all the way there she informed me she would need to investigate this for a couple of hours. With sick kids I wanted to get it done then and go home. Her attitude and professionalism were horrible. Will never go to that location again even when other Smith's tell me thats the only location that has the medicine again.

Poor communication in the drive through and not very kind. Maybe they should do away with the drive through if it is too inconvenient for them.

Very helpful pharmacist, and a team that helps an inexperienced person fill a bunch of complicated prescriptions ?

Zero selection of adult or children’s stomach medicine as of 1/8. No spot for it very disappointing to not have something basic offered.

This pharmacy is great, the techs and pharmacists are awesome. Great experience. But, they are a busy location and pharmacy (the industry) has changed in the last few years making it so techs and pharmacists are overworked with less help and more work with vaccines (techs now can get certification, but that means they are away from other duties). Retail pharmacists have been overworked for decades. Even with filling machines and the amount of employees they have, they are STILL working when they should be taking a break. They are simply overworked and all these reviews show it. If Kroger invested in their employees, this would be one of the best pharmacies to go to. They could utilize what they have. It is simply corporate cannibalism of their own pharmacy after they ate up local, small pharmacies that could have taken the excess in vaccines and other dispersants of medications on back order for unknown timelines.
