The purpose of this trip was for the sushi California rolls this is one of the only grocery that has yummy sushi. We go to Smiths often.

Love this store, I always purchase my fruits and vegetables here. I live close so it's convenient to buy what I need. And I get a bunch of discounts and also fuel points with my purchases! Would definitely recommend this store for most ingredients and household items!

I know I can always get deli fried chicken anytime at WINCO, but when I went into Smith's in Layton on Saturday at about 6 pm, they only had a few pieces left. No thighs no breasts. Once again WINCO beats you with services and prices. Smith's can never beat WINCO'S prices.

The ladies at the self-checkout are pretty abrupt and rude, and I was shocked because I had never encountered that before.

This smiths particular gets a horrible rating due to the manager name Amber. I've never had a more rude snotty customer service agent in all my years of ever returning something to a store. She fought with me absurdly about how her machine system can't POSSIBLY ever be wrong because *technology is never faulty* supposedly... i went to the other Smiths location to do the return that Amber wouldn't do and they did it in seconds!!! No hesitation no hassle no rude or b*t*hy service, just a friendly face to do her job,, far from the hassle Amber gave, for no reason! Amber also claimed that all the Smiths are the same and others won't do a return without receipt, ha! What a flat out lie. I could tell she was going to give me a hard time the moment I saw her, she has a terrible vibe and even though I played nice she seemed to have a vendetta against me the moment she looked at me/ very judgementally. I've never been so impressioned by a terribly rude customer service manager before like i have with Amber. Worst vibe a person in customer service has ever had that isn't a teenager.
