These guys in Layton saved my behind and are my hero’s. I was in a bind with an issue with my bumper and they rescued me going above and beyond without question. I have been coming to this shop for about 8 years now. They have always been so kind to me and had all the answers to everything I have asked. They have never tried to upsell me either. They have always been wonderful and so reliable. Their prices are really reasonable too! I highly recommend this place to everyone!

We took our car in for a thermostat replacement. The mechanic broke a hose and claimed it was already broken. However, this would have meant coolant would have been spraying out. As I drove the car from Ogden to this, Layton location, our car would have over heated if the hose "was already broken." The notion to charge us for the new hose but, "not for the labor" clearly assumes the mechanic broke the hose. To add insult to injury, our car was also damaged while in the possession of this Tunex. 100/100 we do not recommend bringing your vehicle here.

Definitely recommend this shop. They got me right in for a water pump and thermostat replacement. Other shops in the area were booked out a week. The lady at the desk was awesome at letting me know what needed to be done. Also the mechanic that worked on my car had pride in his work, he followed up with me to make sure everything was good to go. Thanks Tunex!

I’m not sure if they misdiagnosed my car or were trying to rip me off but I took my car to fix my AC because it was blowing hot air. Tunex said they would need to redo my whole compressor and quoted me $1,700 another shop said they could do the same thing for $1,300. I took it to the other shop and they didn’t think I even needed the compressor. They just simply flushed my system and put in new refrigerant and my car is working great! Don’t think I’ll be coming back to Tunex… ?
