Our secondary water was shut down without notice. My water and pump are programed to run on a B-hyve contoller and the set program has been running, turning on the pressure pump, without any water to cool it down. I called Weber Basin and was informed of their inability to notify costumers when the water will be shut off for repairs. This is unacceptable. We are taxed hard for this water. Just another example of getting less sevices with more tax dollars.

A few weeks ago, I called Weber Basin because there was land at the northeast corner of Green Road and Orchard Road that had tons of huge goat-head (sticker) weeds, with millions of the thorny seeds all over the sidewalk and some getting into the road. This intersection is where the trail starts for Bair Creek, that goes underneath the new Highway 89 freeway. It's super nice, but with millions of goat-heads being spread on the road, it was going to be a bikers nightmare. I'm tied of fixing bike tire flats because of peoples carelessness. So, I called Weber Basin to come and take care of their property. The woman I talked to was gracious and said they'd take care of it. She even called me back a week or two later saying that they had. I went to the trailhead today, riding my bike, and instead of a cleaned-up job, it was a nightmare. They had sprayed the goat-heads plants, and had apparently cut-back those that were on the sidewalk and road, and dragged them across the road and loaded them on a truck. And, what was left was thousands of goat-head sticker seeds all over the road and sidewalk. It would have been like me dumping a 50 lb box of 16 penny nails on a freeway. It was horrible. The clean-up job was done wrong. The crew obviously didn't care. They were either uneducated, clueless, or apathetic - or all of the above. They should have come and dug the green weeds, loaded them into the truck, and cleaned up what sticker seeds fell. When they're dead, the plant drop all the seeds. When they're green, you have half a chance of keeping them on the plant until they're disposed of. So, I called Weber Basin today and complained, and I talked to a different woman this time, and instead of her saying, "Oh, I'm sorry about that, our crews aren't here today, we'll get that cleaned up on Monday", she got defensive and wanted my name and number, and she was going to just pass it on to someone else. Long story short, I worked it with Davis County Sheriff, and got the egregious situation documented, and then I went and spent 1-1/2 hours sweeping 100 feet of city street and sidewalk. I'll invoice Weber Basin for this clean-up job this week.I don't have noxious weeds on my property, and others shouldn't either. City ordinances require it, but it's rarely enforced unless the situation is horrendous. This situation was horrendous. There are still millions of goat-heads on this property, that will bloom in the spring. And, Weber Basin better get ready for more phone calls. Spraying them early does make a difference, but its useless after they've gone to seed.

Lucy is the absolute worst person I have ever worked with. This company should be ashamed of themselves for allowing someone to work for them who is rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful to customers. My family and I are selling our home to get away from having to use this company for our secondary water.

The WORST water company I have ever seen . They gave us a water overage warning because we went over apparently on a new house build so we weren’t familiar with the sprinkler system . Anyways , got a warning multiple weeks AFTER we went over therefore caused us to go over twice so they didn’t skip a beat . Automatically 256$ fine no budging no leniency . Gave us attitude when I spoke to them on the phone asking if there was anything they could do because I shut my water off completely the rest of summer. Our yard is dead and I’m almost 300$ more broke because of this horrible company . AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Oh and then they tried to say it’s gonna cost almost 10 dollars to take a payment over the phone or I have to drive to the building and give them cash . Who does this ?!? It’s 2023 people let’s just say I am LIVID

Unfortunately I had a violation, I called to find out more and spoke with Deena Harris. Unfortunately Miss Harris was rude, condescending and unprofessional. I asked to speak with someone else and the next gentleman was much more professional and civil. I paid the violation but hope that Weber Basin Water will discuss what true customer service is with Deena. After working in Corporate America for 20+ years I was extremely disappointed in the interaction I experienced with Miss Harris. If I had an option to choose a different company for this utility I definitely would because of the lack of professionalism and “customer service,” from this organization.

I received a warning notice for this week when I've not watered once! I feel harassed. I'm wondering if the fact that you've installed two meters inappropriately on my property is the problem. In addition the contractors you hired broke my main water cover and my mail box which I had to have professionally installed and is also now displaced from it's original placement. I confronted the contractors and nothing was repaired. I found out later this was the second meter and shouldn't be on my property at all and don't ask me to use my limited internet access to register for an account... It's ludacris.

Employees are members of the good old boys club. They self govern themselves as a quazi private/public agency. They provide terrible customer service. They are lazy and won’t respond to low pressure issues. They choose when to answer phones and usually ignore phone calls. They leave water restriction notices at your door but won’t say which day is ok to use water. They need to be reported to the Utah public service commission for terrible service.

Received a list of landscape contractors to remove parkstrip grass and replace with something that doesn't require water.
