First time dealing with this bank. I was trying to make a loan payment over the phone, spent 30 minutes between 2 department and being on hold. Then ready to make payments and was notified they don't accept American Express. They said I had to do it in person at the closest location. They gave me this address and said I could make the payments with my AE card as long as I came in person. I came down and guess what? Each of the 3 people working here said they do not accept AE. Why send me all over and waste 2 hours of my day?

GWCU absolutely rocks. Our family just relocated to Utah from out of state. The team at the Lehi branch (inside Macey’s) made me feel so welcomed. Transitioning to a new bank is challenging but Sidney had my back and went above and beyond to make the transition as seamless as possible. We hit a few snags along the way, but she and the rest of the GWCU Lehi Team did an amazing job to earn my business and most importantly, my trust. In a previous career, I was a banker, so I know first hand what to look for in a banking relationship. Kudos GWCU Lehi! Special thanks to Sidney!

I don't know that I have EVER had such incredible service from a bank, and I don't even have an account with Goldenwest CC. Sidney went over and above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of with a bank transfer that my bank was holding up. She made multiple calls and online chats over 2 days to make sure things happened correctly and as timely as possible. Seriously considering moving all my banking to GoldenWest simply because of Sidney. Thank you.

This Lehi branch crew are superheroes in my book. I had a very complicated issue and they calmly helped me out, assuring me over and over again that they are happy to help. They even got on the phone with the people I was endeavoring to make payment to. In the end, everything was taken care of In a friendly and professional way. The next time I saw them, they remembered who I was and what the situation was and asked me how things were going. That is above and beyond.

I do not bank with Goldenwest, but I purchased a vehicle that had a lien held on it by Goldenwest. They advised the Individual we purchased from to not pay off their vehicle. This turned out to be extremely poor advice. Goldenwest has had our cashiers check CASHED for thirty three days at this point, yet nether us, nor the seller have received a title. Dealing with Goldenwest has been frustrating. I advise anyone who doesn't bank with them, or whom is doing business with someone who does bank with them, to be extremely cautious.Update: We finally got this process done after hours of phone calls today. During this process we have attempted to reach out to Goldenwest multiple times, only to be told that all information was confidential. This included speaking with managers, and we were refused when we asked to speak with the title department. We were told that only the previous owner could obtain any information about what was going on with our vehicle and title status. When Goldenwest received our check, they also received paperwork signed by the seller that all documents were to be sent to us. After we spoke again with the seller today, they finally reached out to Goldenwest, and Goldenwest told them that no physical title would be sent. We made more phone calls trying to figure out what was going on. We talked to the DMV, who said that what was holding up this whole process was the lien release from Goldenwest. The weeks and hours of phone calls came down to a simple piece of paper endorsed by their title department that needed to be taken to the DMV. There was no communication about this from Goldenwest. We were expecting a title, and got a paper saying the lien had been released. There was no other information whatsoever. We still do not understand how being told that we need to take this paper to the DMV was confidential information, and why no one from Goldenwest could explain why, or even the process. We were told that the sellers or us would be receiving a physical copy of the title, yet that was not the case. Hopefully Goldenwest can take this information and realize that something needs to change. The weeks and weeks of stress we went through could have been avoided with a simple letter included with the statement of release stating what the next step in the process was. Again, there was absolutely no confidential information involved, so for us to be turned away time and time again, including by managers who are supposed to be able to help with these sorts of issues, is ridiculous.

A charge processed I was forgetful of, so I needed to make a $5 deposit. The Goldenwest ATMs do not accept deposits most times, so I traveled 30 minutes to Maceys to deposit funds before overdraft fees had a chance to accrue.Unfortunately, I was 1/2 hour early. I didn’t want to go home just to turn around and come back, so I waited. About 15 minutes later, this teller walked past and opened the bank. Several others followed. I asked if they were open yet. The blond quickly snapped, “No. We don’t open until 9:00. You need to wait.”I quietly moved across the aisle from the bank and pulled out my phone to respond to a text. A few minutes later, I noticed a man standing in front of the tellers. The blond plastered her warm and friendly smile on and motioned him over 5 minutes early. Looking past him, her eyes caught mine and her smile faltered before returning. She continued on, helping the handsome man.Because I had been waiting so long, patiently, and was dismissed so easily to have been immediately replaced by another—I will absolutely drive an hour to get to another Goldenwest next time.It’s really a shame. The vast majority of my descriptions are overwhelmingly positive. Once in a while, an exception stands out… And here she is—a flirty, immature teller.

They gave me a chance to redeem myself with an auto loan after a string of bad occurrences which had left my credit in shambles. Four years later and not missing any payments or being late and improving my credit was able to refinance my loan online to an astounding 2.49%. The person who I dealt with online was extremely helpful with the process. Promptin responding, friendly and informative. Thank you GWCU.

Best credit union in Utah county with the best rates too. The employees are very professional and friendly. I switched to them from America First after having some problems and couldn't be happier.
