I sent my son in today to get an oil change in with my truck. He said the rep came to him and said it would be a few more min and they were going to do a few more things. He was then charged $726. Seems predatory to not discuss with a minor's parents before charging him a crazy amount!!!
Grease Monkey responded to my 1 star review, as you can see below, asking me to contact them through email about my review. It has been over 2 weeks and they failed to return an email or care to get in contact with me about the previous experience. FAILURE on all fronts!!

My wife went in for a routine oil change. The girl who was changed her oil kept insisting to my wife that she get additional things for the car. My wife was dealing with a fussy baby and a toddler at the same time. After telling the girl no multiple times l, she finally said yes to one of the items just to get the girl to stop.
She got everything done and paid the bill quickly because the baby was crying and she was ready to leave.
What she didn’t realize is that she was charged for multiple things that she did not consent to.
What should have been a routine oil change for less than $100 turned into an over $250 bill.
Terrible and insistent service that preyed on a young mother to overcharge her for service.
Update: nothing has been done to fix the situation or even an attempt to reconcile. I sent an email to customer service as instructed and my email didn't even get a response.

Oil change and interactions were good. However I think corporate might be pushing too hard on a few things.
I changed both car filters the day before going in for an oil change. I explicitly ask not to check filters. 15 minutes later I’m being shown my brand new filters with greasy all over them. Why? Technician said it was company policy.
I gave them a 2nd chance today. Already skeptical… service was great. At the time of check out they asked for my email to send a receipt and promotional stuff. I opted out.
Then the guy starts typing an email address in anyway.
“What email did you just type in there?”
“Mine. We’re trying to get 100% of our customers to have their email in the system.”
“Could you please delete that? I don’t need my receipts or anything with my name on it going to your email.”
Guy looked confused. I waited until it was removed. Chances are he went back and did it anyway.
I’ll be driving 5 minutes further next time and give someone else a shot.

Got my oil changed in about 10 minutes. In and out. They even adjusted my windshield wiper which was flopping around. Highly recommend if you want your oil changed quickly.

I was in and out so quick. I talked with 2 diff gentlemen and they both were so kind and listened to me ramble, and both replied with, "we'll take care of it."
And I have never felt so comfortable letting someone take my car before.
My husband swears by these guys. And this was my first time going.
I would travel to come to this location.

Not a good experience. We've been coming to Grease Monkey for about 5 years and usually have a good experience, but this time the service was horrible! First I was told that my car would be next, then I saw them move it out of line and pull another car into the bay, then move my car behind it. Basically it added at least another 1/2 hour to the oil change. Then when they finally did get it done, I had to wait for another 10 minutes, at least, to pay while the attendant searched the internet for a muffler for another customer. While I would normally applaud this person for going above and beyond to help the customer, he could have politely taken time to allow me to complete my transaction and then returned to helping the other customer. Bottom line, there was horrible communication and very poor customer service this time. I'll be thinking twice before returning.
