I had a very disappointing experience at this store due to the manager's unprofessional behavior. Off the bat, it was an unwelcoming atmosphere with yelling in the back. When the store manager finally came out, she instantly got on our case about ‘picking up the displays’. This not only made the environment tense but also reflected poorly on the store's management. Clearly, with the number of other reviews here, I am not the first to have an issue like this at this store. I hope the leadership addresses this issue to foster a more positive and respectful store.

Journeys is an amazing company which is the only reason this review has two stars. The Lehi location in my opinion is the worst to shop at. Nobody feels like they want to be there. Or they’re forcefully trying to get me to buy some accessories. The store manager is very rude to customers and her own employees. Multiple times I have come in I have heard yelling in the back. Across the lines of “why can’t you do this right” boxes being slammed on the ground. I’ve witnessed employees coming out of the back very nervous and seems to be on edge of a breakdown. If you want to shop at journeys go to any other location. The manager at this store ruins the whole shopping experience and I usually love shopping at journeys.
Note for the store manager. Why are we making the store such a negative environment yelling at customers for touching shoes they never knew they couldn’t touch. Unclear communication. Personally I think screaming at your teenage employees is unacceptable as a store manager. Something needs to be done about this.

Extremely negative attitude. If you don’t want people touching the display shoes, put up a clear sign or have someone stationed nearby. Yelling at every customer who simply picks up a shoe is completely unreasonable. So bad 👎👎👎

i bought mary jane’s from here a while ago, and they fell apart. but one of the managers named kylie helped me get a completely new pair, and i wear them every day! thanks kylie!

I Love this store!! It recently got remodeled and the place looks amazing!!! Speaking on the store environment, It’s a bit weird being immediately greeted at the door, but I’ve found that this is standard practice at all journeys. Having shopped here many times I can say that the employees have always been quick to help me and very attentive. When a shoe wasn’t available in their store they helped locate it at one of their other locations for me to pickup. One thing I’ve noticed is that many people complained about being told not to try on the display shoes. From my experience many people have already been asked to not try them on, but continue to do so leading to employees having to take more charge and upset the customers. What I think most customers don’t realize is how many people want to try on the display shoes leading to so many feet being in one shoe. A lot of the shoes they sell mold to feet or even just get worn down which ruins it the shoe for the customer buying it. Overall I love this store and the things they are trying to do help give their customers the best experience!

Also was unaware you could not try in the display shoes, was rudely asked not to after already trying on multiple “display only shoes”. There is no signs that ask you not to try them on. Then when I asked for a size and the rude employee with the pink and blonde hair came back with the shoes and tossed them on the bench and flipped open the box and walked away, it was not a busy night. Needless to say I did not buy the shoes nor will I go back for lousy and rude customer service.

Kylie is the name of the girl who works there ( over the age of 18 ) picking on her (16 yo) coworker infront of the whole store as the 16 yo was helping me kylie rudely yelled at her from across the store, treating her however she pleased because there’s not a single adult working in that store to stop that from happening.

I have never been more embarrassed in my life…. Was called out, loudly by the store attendant. I had no idea we could not touch the shoes on display…. I did not see signs and I guess I had gotten used to non-Covid like proceedures. ?Will never go back to this store, even if they paid me to do so.
New Balance should think twice about where they allow their brand to be sold.
There are better ways to speak to, or inform customers. Not, matter of factly, arrogant…. I simply left the store.

I called about 30 minutes before walking into the store about checking to see if the style and size of shoe I wanted was in stock. I was assured there were 3 in stock by the manager, I believe her name was Shelby. After waiting for someone to approach me at the store I approached Jake as he was putting a away a few shoes. Jake went in to the back and came back with a completely different style and a size up… when I told him about the phone call I made, he then approached the manager. I then heard the manager say that there were in stock and that she’d go and get them in a few minutes after helping a few people check out. While waiting Jake wondered around for a few minutes and then told me that he didn’t believe they were in stock. I will be honest I was dismissive when I reminded him of the conversation and was told there were 3 pairs of the style and size in stock. He then spoke to the manager again, shortly after the manager went to the back and helped him look. They were in stock and found almost instantly! I honestly wish I could’ve given my sale to the manager as I received better customer service in the 3 minute phone call and she found the pair of she’s I originally called for but I was trying to get out as soon as possible.The part of this is experience that I am most frustrated with is that Jake acted so helpless. In the time that we waited for the manager he could’ve looked a little harder. I don’t know if Jake is new but I do think there needs to be additional/focused training in finding merchandise

I have been going to the outlets for as long as i can remember if i’m being honest and today was prolly the worst experiences i’ve have ever had there EVER i’m going to go to the store to return some shoes and this blonde girl with blue hair starts giving me attitude I was very upset when I left never again i’m i shopping with Journeys if I really want some shoes i’d rather get it from the original store online. Poor Service.
