Sadly, our wedding planner was absolutely awful. I will not mention this woman’s name, but things soon soured after meeting with her while my (now) in-laws were in town from Peru. Together, we all visited the venue to review the details of the wedding about 2 weeks prior to our special day. Bless their hearts, my in-laws don’t speak English so my wife would have to translate for the wedding planner, and then they would converse back forth like this. While this was going on, I happen to look up at our wedding planner and she looked so annoyed and bothered by this. Her eyes were rolling and she was continuously heavily exhaling with annoyance as if she was burdened by this exchange between my wife and her family. Her responses felt rude and very quick as if she didn’t want to talk to us anymore. I want you all to know how sweet and wonderful my in-laws are. They are the most humble kind wonderful people you will ever meet. They exemplify what it means to be Christlike. Also, nothing that we were discussing was out of the ordinary, only asking basic questions about our wedding. In fact, we asked only basic questions. At this point, I was faced with a moral dilemma on how to handle this. I was so angry and upset, but I did not know what to say or do. Put yourself in my shoes, it was literally two weeks to our wedding date, invitations were already sent, and my wife’s family all came from Peru to be here. If I got mad and lost my temper at this woman, only negative things would come of it. We would either potentially lose our spot or have to go find another venue two in weeks which would be absolutely impossible. So I kept my mouth shut, and I didn’t say anything and kept the peace for my wife’s sake. During wedding rehearsals, she seemed annoyed that she even had to be there. She was very rude and had an attitude throughout the duration of the rehearsal. On our wedding day, we tried calling her and could not reach her on the phone because she had to unlock the bride’s room.
We paid everything on our invoice, however, while we were on our honeymoon, we get a threatening email saying that we still owed $1000. How is that even possible when we paid everything that they gave us to pay and there’s no way that we could have had our wedding without paying everything before the day of the wedding!!??? We got all of our records together and showed where we had paid everything. She sends us a message, threatening litigation and other strong unnecessary wording. I’ve never felt taken advantage of or mistreated more than I have with this company by this woman. Knowing that the cost of taking this to court would be far more expensive and cause much more trauma to my dear wife, we chose to make a deal with them and pay half of that. Mind you, I have the documentation that shows that we paid everything they asked for. Finally, this woman admitted that this was their fault. So my experience with this company was extremely disappointing, upsetting, and downright unethical in so many ways. I can’t even begin to explain. This short review that I’m giving doesn’t even do it justice. I’m not the type of person that gives these types of reviews. Typically, I just let things go; however, I owe it to everyone who is considering this venue to let them know our experience.

Attended a beautiful wedding reception here. Such a beautiful ambience and setting. The desserts were nothing to write home about but the setting was.

Beautiful cozy venue for a wedding! Plus there are cafes just a short walk away where you can find vegan options. Something I found very convenient when attending a wedding where vegan food isn't on the menu!

Just got a grandparent membership because every time I go there I'm impressed with what I see. I am looking forward to visiting Thanksgiving Point this year.

Too expensive for what each of these separate museums are. $27 per person, per building, for a building that offers probably 45 minutes of content each is too steep.

An oasis within the urban landscape. Thanksgiving Point gives a nod to farming with grapes/vineyard, corn, hay bales, animals/petting zoo and a variety of other things already described by other Yelpers. I love the Rose Garden, but there are truly many corners to find peace and tranquility in this vast landscape. Grab some lunch at the Cafe. Do yoga. Have a massage! Check out some butterflies! Thanksgiving Point has it all.

This is a beautiful location for a wedding reception! The gardens are beautiful, and the fountain is so pleasant. There are beautiful canopys and drapery. It was a bit difficult to find at first, but that way it feels private and completely surrounded by beautiful garden. There is plenty of space so it doesn't feel cramped but it also feels intimate and sweet.

We have a membership to Thanksgiving Point and it is by far the best thing we have!! Not only do they have amazing museums and attractions. They do a lot of seasonal tours! Right now they have one called dinosaur island and it is so much fun and interactive for kids of all ages! It is at the Ashton Gardens so there is tons of walking. However you are able to rent golf carts($50)wheelchairs($10) ,seated scooter ($30)and strollers ($5) at the green house. They have a fun and clean entry way and the paths are kept clean as well! It was a very good night. Just past the water fall they had a concession stand and about 12 tables you can sit and eat. They also have lots of bench's along the paths for sitting if you get to tired. We noticed 3 bathrooms throughout so that was nice especially with littles! All in all a great experience

This place is SO much fun. Great for kids, out of town visitors, and there's always something to do year round - no matter the weather! We have a yearly membership and are here every Monday! It never gets old. So much fun!!

The museum of natural curiosity is the best place you could take your kids in all of Utah County. Every exhibit is so creative and full of little details of really interactive and mentally engaging activities for kids to do from small toddlers to bigger kids! There's SO much variety and you could honestly spend all day exploring. Ashton Gardens are beautiful, and they have fun events throughout the summer to add variety, like the tulip festival (the look of the gardens during this really isn't that different than normal in my opinion) and the dinosaur island event. The dinosaur museum is really well laid out to have a clear flow through the building with fun exhibits that ends at this big archaeology dig site for kids! Basically, you'll just never run out of things to do an see at all the museums here, and if you have an EBT card or annual pass, you can get in with a discount!

As a child, I thought Thanksgiving Point was meh. Now that it's grown and I've grown, this place is AWESOME! There's a world class dinosaur exhibition and the coolest children's museum I've ever seen in my life. From the tulips at Ashton Gardens to Brickhouse Salon to the Butterfly Biome to the farm to Cornbellys... Thanksgiving Point is EVERYTHING! It's the perfect place for children (of all ages). I bring my son here to learn and develop a deeper appreciation for nature. Their playgrounds/nature learning centers are GREAT. We love to play! We don't even live in Utah, and bought a membership. It's a great investment and Thanksgiving Point that special. 5 out of 5!

We surprised our kids with a winter wonderland weekend and it started with Luminaria at Thanksgiving Point. It was absolutely spectacular! Here's a couple tips we learned after our visit: you do NOT all need the VIP tickets. The hot chocolate is a good idea but you do NOT need unlimitedThe igloo was a great experience but it will not warm you up as much as you would like.DEFINITELY bundle up.The stay and play package IS worth it if your from out of town. You MUST visit at least once. The only reason I give 4 stars is because of pricing at Thanksgiving Point outside of Luminaria. We wanted to visit one of the museums the next morning but the price for us to get in was unreasonable, in our opinion. They price it to encourage memberships, which I understand but coming from out of town doesn't make sense to buy the membership.
