I just had a great pedicure someplace else and decided to come back here and review a pedicure I received a couple of months ago. I was very disappointed, she seemed upset that I wasn’t getting the super expensive pedicure and went really fast and was rough, and probably missed a few steps. It was not a great experience.

Just moved back here to Utah. This was my first time here at Modern Nails and saw Ann. I did make an appointment and she was right on time as soon as I got there she started my nail fill. She is very kind and precise and fast. I will be back. She did such a beautiful job!

I went here with a group of family members. Personally, I’m pretty happy with how mine came out! They’re just what I wanted! I will say, the lady did nick my finger with the grinder tool and it bled a little bit. It wasn’t terrible and I’m not mad at all but, like, it still hurts.
On the other hand, a few of the girls in my group just wanted the more simple polish or shellac while the nail techs were pushing for the more expensive gels and acrylics. In general, we all would’ve appreciated more respect for what the costumer wanted.
Proper communication was also lacking. With the loud music, the nail techs wearing face masks, and the fact that most of them already have thick accents just made it very difficult to hear what they were saying so that did lead to some miscommunication.
Overall not bad!

Modern nails is my favorite local nail salon. I had been going to a nail salon in American Fork and the gel polish would start to come off after only four or five days. I have had several of the nail techs at modern nails do my nails and have been so happy with their work every time. Lynn is my favorite! She is always very thorough and my nails always look so pretty when she’s done. I would definitely recommend modern nails to anyone looking to have a manicure or pedicure.

I’ve been here a few times but most recently twice in the last two months. Today I got a manicure and pedicure.
The pedicure was nice but the paint job was not good, it’s streaky and uneven.
The manicure is a good shape but again the paint wasn’t great.
I was charged $100, $40 for the pedicure and $60 for the manicure, which for the quality of the paint job seems like too much.
The staff is super nice and I do appreciate them being friendly and kind. I’ll maybe do a solid color if I come back.
Edit: was able to go back morning for touch up, Tina offered to redo my manicure too all at no cost. In fact she redid it all. We went with cateye this time around and it was so quick and looks perfect. She is the one I’ll go back to see next time; talented and kind. Thanks Tina!
