Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point is a beautiful 50-acre oasis featuring lush gardens, grand lawns, and the largest manmade waterfall in the Western Hemisphere. Visitors enjoy wandering through secluded gardens and winding paths, exploring themed areas such as the Light of the World sculpture garden that depicts the life of Jesus Christ. The gardens host seasonal events like the spring Tulip Festival and the winter holiday Luminaria lights celebration, creating a festive atmosphere. The Trellis Cafe offers indoor and patio dining, serving high-quality food with attentive staff. Guests appreciate the stunning displays, especially during the Luminaria event, where the lighting arrangements are described as flipping beautiful. The Garden of Quilts showcases hundreds of colorful quilts in large groupings, exceeding expectations with impressive craftsmanship. Children find additional entertainment with features like moving dinosaurs. While visitors often find the gardens breathtaking and enjoy the variety of experiences, some mention that ticket prices are high, and it would be helpful if visitors were informed about any closures or missing features beforehand. Overall, Ashton Gardens provides a memorable natural and cultural experience year-round.
We've visited many times and will continue to come back! Beautiful in every season.
