My experience tonight at Verizon with Jayden was exceptional. Jayden went above and beyond to help me with my broken phone. Highly recommend Verizon Traverse Mountain Pkwy.

Verizon and the employees of this store are criminals. They are horribly dishonest, shady and will do and say anything to get a sale. Do NOT trust anything any of them have to say. I became a customer in March, turned in 5 nearly brand new phones to participate in a promo in which I was expecting and promised repeatedly a complete credit for new phones for converting from T-Mobile. That was the promise and the highlight of the promotion. I have spent 6 hours in the store sitting next to people trying to resolve and have had zero results. They stole over $5,000 worth of phones and did it with a smile. My bill is nearly $500 per month for 9 months and it should be around $240. They do not care about people at all... it is all about getting sales. RUN AWAY!

Very shady sales practices here. The employee seemed to either have no clue what he was doing, or he knew exactly what he was doing and was trying to make things harder and more expensive for us. It was also an obscenely long process, taking around three hours for just my husband. (And we had no one in front of us in line. This was 3 hours of just working with the guy trying to set everything up.) After switching plans and upgrading my husband’s phone, we got home to look at the account and found we were being charged far more than we had agreed to. Maybe we missed some fine print, but we had tried to be thorough and had the employee break down the prices with us in the store. The upped price of our phone and internet plans was done without our explicit knowledge. We were also lied to and told my husband would have to have a temporary new number because he couldn’t port the number over from our old carrier in-store, we had to call and do that ourselves. Sounded strange to us, but we didn’t press the matter. We should have, because Verizon support later told us that the number had to be ported over in store and we were essentially out of luck. So, my husband had to go through the grueling process of updating his number everywhere and with everyone. We are deeply regretting not staying with our former carrier.

Just left this store after having an incredibly frustrating experience. The kid working there seemed to be the only one working. There was one other person in the store. From the minute we walked in, he seemed less than thrilled to help us. His first question to us was, "Did you guys just have a quick question?" We were actually there to buy 2 new phones. Once he begrudgingly pulled up our account he said, "Well, since we actually close soon we won't be able to transfer your data so we actually might want to do this another day". We immediately left. We had walked in the store with plenty of time to do what needed to be done but weren't acknowledged or helped for quite a while. Any store that cares about their customers or cares about their sales takes care of any customer that enters the store before closing time. This store will never recieve our business due to the unhelpful and lazy employee working tonight. (10/6/23)

Was lied to by the store rep last year. Was told that if I traded in my iPhone, then my new iPhone 14 was completely paid for due to a promotion they had. Due to poor service, I was looking to switch carriers, but was told I’d have to pay off $540 because I don’t own my phone yet. Avoid this Verizon store at all costs. They lied and stole my old phone from me that was completely paid for.

My recent visit to the Traverse Mountain Verizon store left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. The entire experience was marked by inefficiency, inadequate staffing, and manipulative sales tactics.Upon arrival, we were hopeful of a quick and efficient shopping experience. However, our hopes were quickly dashed as we found ourselves waiting for over an hour with little progress to show for it. Shockingly, the store seemed to be manned by only one person who was primarily assisting a single couple for the majority of our wait.While the salesman did manage to engage with us a couple of times during our agonizing wait, his interactions were far from satisfactory. He attempted to discourage us from considering online shopping. His reasoning that our desired phone could potentially be damaged or lost during shipment felt disingenuous and manipulative. Such tactics only serve to undermine the trust customers place in the store's integrity.I would caution potential customers to consider these aspects before choosing to visit this store for their cell phone needs.

? CAREFUL!!! ? Terrible experience. I’ve been a Verizon customer consistently for 22 years and this is the worst sales experience I’ve ever had. Peyton, the employee who helped me, was very nice and friendly. However, all I wanted was a new phone. He first tried to get me to add a watch and then an iPad. I declined both and said I just needed the new phone. He said that he could put me on a cheaper plan and that my payments would be less than what I had been paying.He did tell me that there was a $35 activation fee so I was prepared for that. I just received my first bill and it’s $140 MORE than I expected. I called to ask why and now, Peyton who I originally spoke to, was not able to help or find out why the bill was so much more. After 30 minutes on the phone were getting me no where with him, I called Verizon customer service. They said the plan he upgraded me to was more expensive, not less. Even customer service wasn’t able to help - oh, except for the $20 credit they offered. ?I’m so upset that I’m now paying over $110/month for 1 phone and 1 line - nothing extra. Oh, and I paid off on the new phone with money I had saved so that the new phone wouldn’t be part of my monthly bill.I’m such disgusting behavior and now, apparently, no one can help. It’s shady service to say the very least.

Shady sales people. Be careful. They tookAdvantage of my daughter, telling her that things came with the phone that actually did not. Overcharge for items and say they can be returned if you keep the box. But they took the box at the time of sales. Ask what everything costs and get details. They work on commission so they are trying to upsell you. 16 yr old girl is a prime target for their shady actions. Had to call the Verizon customer service to get them to tell me what actual costs were and they had to fix promotions that the store was not honoring.

Came in today to replace a broken phone. Payton was the only one working. He finished up with a customer and there was one other before me. He got him started on a new phone then started with me. He was able to multitask between the two of us and then towards the end of my experience Another customer walked in and he was able to help her while my phone was transferring. He was patient and kind and I will definitely come back.

This Verizon store wants you to really know what options you have on the devices you choose. Also, they customize and explain your charges so there are no surprises on your bill later. I went to this location hoping they could direct me to a corporate location to help resolve an issue. Shawn ended up helping me with a near impossible problem that I had spent months trying to resolve through customer service. Shawn spent 90 minutes on the phone with customer service and 5-6 different representatives. He was very professional and was able to help me hopefully find a resolution to my issue. I was a Verizon customer for over 20 years, had I gotten the kind of service that Shawn gave me today, I would not have left Verizon.
