I’ve purchased 2 cars through performance motors. They’ve been super easy to work with every step of the way. No hidden fees. My BMW I bought from them had a couple small issues (small coolant leak and it needed a front shock replaced), they promptly fixed these issues before I picked up the car and I haven’t had any issues with it since. 10/10 would recommend.

No better place to purchase a vehicle. I've purchased two cars and an suv from performance motors over the last 5 years. Vehicles always well represented no surprises. Super pleased.

Was very reasonable, low pressure, didn’t ask me to sit down so he could try to lock me into some deal like the big dealership. Will shop here again when I need another car.

Review:
Go somewhere else.
I went to this dealership to check out a 2010 Lexus RX 350 Base. Brandon came out to talk to us. The first thing I asked him was if he knew of anything wrong with the vehicle. He didn’t answer—that should have been a clue, and it kind of was.
I did manage to get the Carfax report from him, and it looked good. I went home and decided to move forward, but like everyone should do, I had it inspected before buying.
The inspection revealed an oil leak, as well as a leaking A/C compressor. The repairs were quoted at $2,520. After taxes and fees, the total cost of the vehicle would have been $12,410.27. With the repairs included, it would have come to $14,992, which I think is way too high for a vehicle with 153,000 miles.
Still, that wasn’t the real issue. I gave Brandon the inspection documents, explained the repair costs, and asked if he would lower the price to cover them. He refused. Instead, he said he could “get it fixed” and even said he could “charge the A/C compressor.” Whether it was a slip of the tongue or not, the compressor needed to be repaired—not charged. This made me question whether he ever planned to repair it at all.
By this point, I was already out $170 for the inspection. If they had truly inspected the vehicle beforehand, as their advertisements claim, I shouldn’t have had to spend my own money to uncover obvious issues like a leaking A/C unit. That’s not a minor thing—it should have been caught and addressed before putting the car up for sale.
Here’s their own ad copy:
“Each of our vehicles is inspected to ensure maximum performance and excellent running condition.”
I don’t consider an oil leak and a failing A/C compressor to be “excellent running condition.”
When I told him I wanted the repairs done and verified by my mechanic, I also made it clear that if the repairs weren’t actually completed, he would have to pay for it. Instead of acting reasonably, he responded with, “I find it offensive that you don’t trust me.” At that point, he became belligerent.
Meanwhile, I later confirmed the vehicle hadn’t moved from his lot, meaning no effort was made to repair it as promised. A follow-up visit from another person asking directly about oil leaks got no straight answers either—just evasions.
This dealership is not honest. They are likely buying cars at auction, giving them a quick glance to avoid obvious disasters, then flipping them to customers without making the necessary repairs. In other words, they’re selling vehicles “as-is” but charging dealership prices.
If you want “as-is,” you can buy directly at auction or from a private seller—at far less cost and risk. Buying from a dealership should mean the vehicle has been properly inspected and repaired before sale. That clearly isn’t happening here.
My advice: avoid this dealership. Spend the money to have vehicles inspected before purchase, and don’t give your hard-earned cash to people who won’t be honest about the condition of what they’re selling.

I have been working with Brandon looking at cars, he has been the most patient guy to deal with. I have test driven the car three times. I can’t believe some of the negative reviews I read being standoffish or not willing to help. Every time I go in he is trying to help me find a car. Seams like a great place to buy a car.

I will never go to this place never again! People that work there are very very rude, they are not nice! When we came in nobody talked to us or even ask our names, didn’t ask why we are here and what we are looking for! We asked to look at one car , he didn’t even ask a question, just brought is key to look at it! We were asking questions and he didn’t care! They are lying about their cars, they have no clue about a history of a car! We asked about tiers shape, he said it’s all good, basically new, but person that know what he is talking about will not miss that tires were from 2021 never changed and etc! The worth dealership we ever been to!

Overall horrible experience, wouldn’t send my worst enemy here to purchase a vehicle. This place is the reason I now look at reviews. The owner is very arrogant and pretentious and unprofessional how this place is open is beyond me. ( yes I’m talking about performance motors in Lindon Utah don’t let the comment below fool you.) Yes Brandon you are horrible.

We found a Lexus IS250 at Performance Motors with no accidents and a clean Carfax and BeenVerified report. We worked with Brandon for a test drive and a prepurchase inspection at the Lexus dealership. The Lexus dealership found a few issues with the Lexus and Brandon worked with me to make the repairs at no cost to me. I was apprehensive throughout the process but Brandon remained honest and confident. I will be in the market for another car in a few years and I will definitely check with Performance Motors first.

This guy told me they replaced the water pump and retimed the engine. Purchased the vehicle and it came up with engine codes within 2 days of purchase. They would not pay to fix it, only wanted to reset the codes for me.
Took it to a Honda dealership and they said we needed to retime the engine and get a new water pump, the same thing he said he had already done. SCAMMER! I would protest outside his business if he wasn't in another county from me.
Buyer beware! Make sure you get your vehicle inspected properly before purchasing. And yes, I know it's the Performance Motors in Lindon. I saw previous reviews the guy said it was the wrong one. Likely was the right one.. Thanks for nothing.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Total scam.

Performance Motors was great to work with! The car I purchased was cleaned really well from their detailing and wax. Overall condition of the car was very good. I was impressed with their responsiveness and communications. They put the car up on a lift so I could poke around underneath to see the condition. Test drive was easy to set up. Cash purchase was quick and painless. Thank you!

We bought a really nice Subaru Outback from Brandon and have to say that it was one of the best used vehicles we have had and Brandon was easy to work with, honest, and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Performance Motors and will look here first when we are in the market again.

I am changing this review as the owner contacted me personally and took care of the charger. The car has been excellent and the service from them is top notch!

Today I went to go look at a car I saw online. It looked clean and price was fair. When I showed up the owner was doing something on his computer and seemed annoyed to have to deal with me. When I asked questions about the car he was pretty short with me. When I started talking to him more seriously about my budget he seemed to really brighten up. I get it, I'm 20 years old and look younger, but it just seemed like he didn't respect me as a customer until he knew I had money.

I was honestly blown away. By far the best dealership experience I've ever had. The car was in excellent condition and the detailing was clearly well done. The car looked beautiful, inside and out. There was no harassment, no sales tactics, and no cheap tricks. Brandon was straightforward with me, gave me an honest price, made the process painless, and got the job done as quick and efficiently as possible. I was so blown away by the car I saw listed, I drove an hour just to see if it was as good as it looked online. I'm happy to say it was. The drive was worth it, and I would happily recommend my family and friends to stop by Performance Motors the next time they want to buy a car. I don't think I've ever left a dealership a review before, but after today's car buying experience, I couldn't walk away without offering one. Brandon, I'll be back. Thank you.
