“We were worried about scheduling with this location at first of all the negative reviews but we went forward in faith that all would be ok. Now that we have recieved services here we feel compelled to give our review!!
We are 110% satisfied with the quality of work and the customer service we received today!!! Not only did they order in the parts we needed to have a tow package/hitch kit installed they went above and beyond and got the right size of ball hitch and everything we needed even when we changed our plans and wanted the 7 plug installed in addition to the 4 flat they had already done. They fit us into their busy schedule and we are completely happy that we gave our business to this particular uhaul service center inspite of the negative reviews in the past!!! You DO want to use these guys. Don't let old reviews scare you away. Look at the most recent review. This one today!!! They are super and I could not be happier!!!!”
“Truck was great, rental process was easy. But they added the $14 "safemove" automatically without asking me beforehand if I wanted it or wanted to decline (I usually decline). Just be prepared to bring up this point and not let them add it if you don't want it.”
“I'll admit, we were a little hesitant to rent a moving truck from this location based off of previous reviews, but we decided to give them a shot because it was the cheapest option to move from Utah to Texas, and I realized most people only leave a review if they've had a bad experience so you rarely see the good ones. I was pleasantly surprised with the service we received and the kindness of the staff for our rental. The truck was a bit dirty inside, so that was my only complaint, but we weren't charged for leaving it in the same condition when we dropped it off.”
“James Murray in American Fork was THE bright spot in a very challenging Budget Car Rental situation. I originally rented at the Provo airport, but wound up with a sporty sedan that sat too low to the ground for my 84 year old disabled dad traveling with me. After 3 days, I returned to Provo to see about swapping it for something a little higher off the ground, but the agent would not work with me. If I wanted to swap cars, I would need to pay an additional $400 for the remaining 3 days in a larger vehicle. I showed the agent I could rent the same larger vehicle he was offering, for half the price on the Budget website a few miles up the road. The agent wouldn't budge, so I returned the sedan early and ran up to the Orem location where I had reserved a larger car online. Upon arrival in Orem, the agent said they were sold out, even though they had given me a confirmation number. Her solution was to send me to Enterprise across the street. I had to ask her to find me another Budget location with availability. After being bounced around with no help, I landed in front of James Murray at the American Fork Budget Car Rental. Not only did he empathize with my TERRIBLE experience at the airport, he offered a free upgrade to an even larger car that would be easier for my elderly parents to get in and out of. James was so friendly, kind, and understanding. He exceeded all my expectations. James Murray at Budget Car Rental in American Fork, Utah is a SUPERSTAR!”
