I usually go to the dog park in Hyrum, but it was closed for mowing and my dogs were desperate for some playtime! Google suggested this dog park and I was hesitant at first, but I absolutely loved it! There's a nice trail and river around the park great for cooling down after running around in the sun for 2 hours! Lots of seating for humans too! It's definitely more busy than Hyrum, but it was great for my dogs to socialize a bit! We will be back!

I love going along this trail for a nice, shaded, short walk. It is beautiful and follows the Logan River. I have loved photoshoots at this location as well!
Dog-friendliness: There is a dog park at this park. It can get muddy, but it is a great place for dogs to run around and get energy out.

Very enjoyable, lovely nature walk, good playground, decently clean picnic area

This is a sorely needed resource in Logan, for which both I and the pup are grateful for. That said, it's missing the essential amenities of water and shade.
There is no potable water nearby at all, and if the river water isn't safe for people to drink (it isn't), it's also not safe for pets. (I have no idea where the fetid water in the one black bucket comes from, but I haven't seen any dogs willing to even drink out of it.)
The park is not new, yet there has been no tree planting effort at all, nor is there any sort of shade ramada. It's not just the dogs who would appreciate shade; owners would too!
Finally, I have no idea why one of the garbage bins can't be kept IN the park, so you don't have to keep going in and out when you clean up after your dog. That's just silly.
A dog park is a needed resource in Logan, a town which seems rather unfriendly towards dogs (and, by extension, their owners). However, this dog park could be made much more hospitable.

Great fenced in park for dogs and walking trails! The trails are plowed in the winter, so it makes for a beautiful and easy scenic walk all year round!

This place has gone down hill. I definitely would not children here. People smoking and vaping in the dog run area even with signs telling people not to do so.Men bathroom locked to slow down the traffic into this park. Portable toilet available for them.
