I bought a 30-378. My 1st hunt was a 241 yd head shot on a blackmail deer. My 2nd shot was a neck shot at 598 on a elk, dropped him in his tracks. I then handed the gun to my buddy who made a 145yd head shot on a elk. Incredible shooting action gun. Joel
