I will never shop at this store. Even if I’m in southern Idaho on a hunt. I will drive a few hours to a different shop. I’ve interacted with the owner a few times now and if you don’t see everything his way then he acts like a pompous j****

My first trip into Top of Utah Archery made me a customer for life! Lance is extremely knowledgeable and very generous with that knowledge as well as his time. He got me set up quickly as well as teaching me some awesome shooting mechanics. I could go on but I’ll finish by just saying that if you live in Utah and need a new bow or work done on your existing bow, go to Top of Utah Archery.

I don't really know where to start. This is my favorite bowshop in Utah. It's not flat brims and cool music - it's about the long term experience you and your bow will have. When you go to Top of Utah, Lance will help you out. This is someone who has decades of archery experience and has dedicated their life to the sport. So you get the education and care of someone finding out what YOU need out of your equipment. It's professionally setup and tuned and you will have the follow up customer service you need. Big box stores don't do that - you get a bow setup by a random associate and wished best of luck. Then you have to go to a proshop to inevitably fix the issues.Lance has always helped me get the right bow for me, tuned it to perfection, and given me tips and pointers to make me a better archery.Get the right equipment setup correctly the first time - go to Top of Utah.

I’ve been shooting the same bow for 12 years and love it. I went to see Lance to test a few of his new bows and explore options (31” ish draw length reduces your choices). It was a much more thorough process than I expected. He had previously seen me shoot and suspected I was using bad form to compensate for a bow that was set up too short. He started by measuring my draw length, and then did what no one else had done and actually taught me how to shoot! He wasn’t forceful about but started with a “try this” approach. At one point, I spent 20 minutes doing a drill with a string and my release and no bow in hand.I've received a few off-hand pointers and offers to be coached over the years, but he just calmly walked me through the process... apparently I needed that!Lance made me a customer for life!!P.S. I bought a new bow and combined with a new shooting process, I’m drilling the center!

In November of 2021 after visiting Sportsman's Warehouse , Scheels , and Cabela's , I decided to make the hour drive to Logan to visit ,Top Of Utah Archery. I have 2 boys that wanted to get bows , but most of the information we were getting from these other shops seemed to contradict each other. I did not want to see my boys waste their hard earned on a misinformed purchase. We entered the store and were greeted by Lance and asked how he could help us. My boys explained they wanted bows. Lance asked them to come to the counter where he measured their draw length's . He then fitted them a release and asked them what draw weight they wanted the bows set to. We spent the next 3.5 hours in his shop shooting bow after bow. He adjusted peeps back and forth , he adjusted draw weights up and down until they felt absolutely comfortable. He showed and taught them correct function and form. They shot around 9 bows between the 2 of them. Other customers came into the shop and Lance would excuse himself and go help them , but he always came back and picked up where he left off. We left with 2 incredible bows , a Solution and Amplify , and Lance earned a customer for life. If you have a bad experience at this shop , its on you , this guy is a professional.

I've been enjoying the sport of archery for over 30 years and during that time have tried many different shops (including local box stores). I am very particular with my archery equipment and setup so it takes a special person to deal with me. Lance has ALWAYS treated me fairly (not always the cheapest price but amazon can't tune my bow!) he has never been unwilling to help me out. I buy a new bow every year from Lance and I hunt and shoot with many friends that also trust Lance with their archery equipment choices. If you are looking for a professional that knows and understands his craft, then go see Lance. He is busy because he is good at what he does so make sure you set aside some time and you will be well taken care of!If you want a cheap bow quick... GOOD LUCK! Maybe the high school kid at the Sportsman's Warehouse gun counter can help you! Thanks Lance!

I drive from Davis County to support Lance. When I bought my first bow 2 and a half years ago I wasn’t getting the help I needed from the shop where it purchased it. I felt like my peep sight was too low but the shop just kept saying it was great, even though they only had me shoot into a blank bale less than 5 yards away. I stopped in to see if the experience would be different at Top of Utah. Lance took 2 hours and worked through my entire shot process. At that point I said my peep still felt just a 1/16” too low so he taught me how to tie it in myself. After all that time he only charged me for the cost of tying in a peep! He earned a customer for life.

Had my first experience at the shop this week. Lance is helpful and very knowledgeable. Great turn around time on a new rest install and tune-up, even in probably the busiest season. It’s a very busy shop and you have to be patient to be helped however that seems to be for all the right reasons. Great services and advice. Thanks Lance!

I’m from out of state- like, wayyyyy out of state. But I recently visited Top of Utah Archery to see the bow spider system. They treated me like I was one of their repeat customers. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They even took extra time to help set up my new gear.

I have been going to Lance for almost 9 years now. He is the best around have bought 2 bows and multiple accessories from him. I won't go anywhere else. But remember he is the best so he is busy. Just be patient and polite and he will take awesomecare if you.
