This is such a cute quaint little theatre. It has some of the most amazing staff, so friendly and willing to help with anything one may need. Comfy seats that make it easy to sit and enjoy. I would highly recommend seeing a production here.

The Empress theatre is truly the definition of a hidden gem. The productions are always so good, the community is like a big family. I could not recommend this place highly enough for an evening out

Went with a friend to see Sherlock the Musical since both of us grew up in a small town with a large community theater presence, neither of us having been to the Empress before. We were both impressed with the production and enjoyed the small town feel of the place. We might have chosen seats further back than the front row had we known just how close the audience is to the stage, but on the other hand we were totally immersed in the play! We came away with an appreciation for the talent of the performers, and their enthusiasm. The space is unique and it was a fun experience to be there. I would have liked to have a simple program included in my ticket price, or been offered one to purchase somewhere before getting to my seat. Apparently you had to get them at the concession counter. Alternatively, I would have accessed the program via QR code if it was an option to save paper. Overall, it was very well executed and a pleasure to attend.

Good theater, but $7 for popcorn should include theater butter.

The show and actors were fantastic! I had front-row seats too! Only downside was that I had, being a kinda tall guy, had absolutely no leg room.

My wife and I had a date night and it was a wonderful evening the show Sherlock The Musical was amazing, the cast and crew were wonderful overall i would recommend it.
