It's nice to work out here, it's small and has almost everything you need. There's a lot of high schoolers that take up the machines after school and they're loud. It's hard to find a squeegee bottle to clean the machines.. there's only one smith machine and one cable machine which is almost always occupied. Other than that, it's an okay environment to workout in.

Nice community recreation center.Workout equipment is generally in good condition. The dumbbells are all over the floor if they had additional racks to organize the weights along the lifting area it also needs some rubber mats so the dumbbells don't get damaged or break the concrete floor. For the size of the gym it has pretty much the equipment you need to have a complete workout. The facility is never too crowded and people are friendly. There is a day care during the day which is convenient for people close by, there is an outdoor pool and a soccer field it seems a good place for families with kids. The basketball courts are nice there are two. There is an indoor track upstairs and some little equipment in some awkward spots to make use of the space. The place is good and serves as a rec center to the community. Maybe needs some updating but is not terrible.I never get to figure out their cleaning towel station - there is a desk with a young guy folding towels and filling spray bottles with sanitizer - supposedly you clean up after yourself which is a great idea specially in areas where you make skin contact, there is a basket where you deposit dirty towels to the laundry. I suggest using disposable sanitizing wipes and have multiple stands around the gym for patrons to use. The kid that is always there is falling asleep or watching YouTube I bet the position is boring. All the staff is very kind and friendly, there is a guy at the front desk that always says have a good workout! They create a good welcoming environment. There are classes for aerobics in the evenings or Saturdays.Maybe they can promote some social events where people would participate or get involved into fitness example sports, resistance classes, running marathons. They seem to care about maintaining the facility and is appreciated cause there are not gyms in Magna and all the commercial gyms nearby are packed and not clean.

The center is nice but the management showed up an hour late to unlock the doors for my Grandpa's wedding. Talk about stressful. All ended well, just hope they can work out those bugs.

The pool is nice- although the 2 times we went the kiddie part, splash pad wasn't turned on or working. It would be nice if they had concessions and sold food at the pool too.

This isn't the cleanest place, BUT it also isn't super busy(at least the times I have gone), so as far a gym's go this one is not that bad.

Horrible park!! Do not take your kids here or dogs on leashes here unless you want them to be attacked by dogs owned by people who have given their dogs ZERO! training. My wife has been attacked, I have been attacked, and two of my friends kids have been attacked by large untrained dogs and I have had to kick large breed dogs in the head for trying to run up and attack my dogs because the owners think it's ok to let untrained aggressive large breed dogs run free without a leash like it's ok and nothing EVER! gets done about it.Today I was almost attacked by a woman's Belgian shepherd that had aggressively rushed me snarling with every hair sticking up on its back ignoring it's vibrating training collar and tried to jump at my face and bite me, I had to punch this dog as hard as I could in it's head before it could bite me and then it took off in the other direction completely ignoring the owners commands, now if that had been a child the park would have a major lawsuit on its hands for not having anyone enforce people keeping their dogs on leashes.Do better!

When I went to daycare here when I was in grade school, and during required time when you were told to be on the playground, one of the daycare kitchen workers jumped on the swinging playground bridge repeatedly while I was sitting on it, causing trauma to my ribcage and causing chronic chest pain. Do yourself a favor and send your kid somewhere else.

The Magna Rec Center is a great place for kids to play sports. The employees are all helpful, the place is clean and just the right size for sporting events.

Decent place, low to medium crowds and great staff. I wish they were more price competitive for gym only access, but doesn't keep me from going.

This place is convenient and great for the most part. Parts of it need to be delivered updated and there should be more machinery.

I understand that the soccer coaches are volunteers but we parents also pay for our kids to play and I’m disappointed that our coach had bad communication and didn’t respond after I asked for a game and practice schedule but did respond to everyone else’s questions. I just didn’t bother finishing the season.
