I love the community feel of the park, and the old buildings. The park is well shaded, other than the playgrounds but it all depends on where the Sun is at the moment.
I would highly recommend this park

This was such a cute park. Very clean and had such a peaceful surrounding. The parking wasn't an issue. We parked along the sidewalk. You can walk around the historical buildings and gain some knowledge of the area. They have metal porch swings set up on alternate sides of the park. The grass was well maintained. The gazebo was clean as well as the restrooms. So serene!
Playground: Playground was well kept and had a variety of activities for kids as well as swing set
Toilets: The restroom is small but it was maintained and well kept.
Dog-friendliness: You could more than likely take your pet here and have plenty of space for your pet to run and have a good time.
Picnic area: There are two pavilions with plenty of seating and didn't look like there was any damage or unstable features.

Love the Monday night music in the park along with the farmers market! Our Fire dept puts on a fabulous BBQ! Large crowd and still, very seat is a great one for the concert.

Great place for the community to come together on Monday evenings during the summer with "Concerts in the Park" where Mapleton City brings in great bands.

Spacious, multi-feature city park that's large enough to find a secluded spot or enjoy the large green space, playset, sports fields, tennis courts, and adjacent museums. There are even swings for couples. Plenty of parking is available and restrooms are on the property.
Playground: Full play set.
Toilets: Public restrooms are available.
Picnic area: There is plenty of space for picnic on the grass or in the pavilion and gazebo if they are available.

We are building a home in the area so we decided to check out the park. It is a great, quiet spot to relax and chill out for a bit.

My Uncle Morris used to live in the house attached to the park. I'm so glad the town didn't tear it down. I have so many fond memories of this place.
