I needed a larger space to essentially empty out my garage, as I am in the process of moving. This is a nice, clean, facility in a quiet neighborhood. The units are definitely larger than most I've been able to find in Utah county. The units also have power, and heating (no AC). The issue for me is the nearly immediate rate hike after moving. I believe we all can relate to being on a budget, and I was already over my budget in an attempt to secure this unit. Two months in, the manager was pushing for me to provide a review for him to get to his "goal". Turns out, the following month I got an email stating that my rate was being increased by nearly 10%! Around this time, I ended up talking to other tenants (some who have been long term occupants) and I learned that rates had been hiked a handful of times over the course of 2024! I understand the need to increase rates for operating costs, but tenants pay additional for power and insurance, what exactly is being maintained? From my perspective this is poor business practice, and The aggressive increase will lead me to having to move out right at the cusp of winter. I was in the process of referring a friend, but at this pace, I would rather save them from the potential future rate hikes.

Have had two units here for a couple years. Never a problem, always clean and well cared for grounds, well lit at night. And when I lose my opener Daniel is awesome and always helps me get it in!

This facility was always clean and accessible. The unit was large and in a convenient location. Daniel was friendly and very helpful. They do tend to raise prices very often. I think it is overpriced.

Knowing what I know now. I wouldn't rent from here. Prices gone up over $150 and now charging everyone for everything. Even if you don't use it or ever have since you started renting there 2 years ago. Nope still have pay. What's next. Gonna charge us for the air in the units too.

Ever since they bought the place. The new company is raising the rates on everything and charging for anything. If you don't use power. Oh well your gonna be charged for it. They don't care.

Nice units, decent prices but nothing great. Terrible management, they will write you up for any infraction & not tell you what the infraction was. Constantly scared to death of getting booted and that actually happens all the time over the littlest things. Saw multiple people get booted. The management not only spies on you, but have other tenants watch you, as well as other “potential tenants,” no joke…the infraction letter I got said as much. So be prepared to be kicked out at anytime and to be watched constantly for anything and everything. After leaving this facility and going to another the new management of our new buildings told us they have tons of former Stor’em tenants that have had similar experiences…THEY ARE NOTORIOUS FOR KICKING PEOPLE OUT. Management of Stor’em is possibly the most unfriendly out there…terrible communication skills…won’t hardly look at you…WEIRD. If you never or rarely visit your unit you’ll be totally fine…but if you’re a business needing storage space to spend an hour or two there a few days a week…AVOID AVOID AVOID!

We have had a unit her for several years now. It’s pretty expensive compared to other units in the area. We chose this one for the freedoms and the facility features. However none of the features that are listed in our contract have been available to us since the day we signed our contract. On top of that we are all now being told that we are only allowed to be in our units for specific amounts of time. We are required to keep our doors open even though in the winter we get in trouble for it being open.. These units were the best option for the area but unless you plan on storing an RV or Boat to park and leave don’t expect the freedom of the unit you pay thousands for…
