Coach Calley is fantastic, the school is clean and the staff is friendly. My daughter is making great progress as Coach really understands the areas she needs to work on with my daughter in order to see progression

What AMAZING staff!!! How often do you meet an entire team of people who are all consistently friendly and sweet and kind and helpful?! I drive out of my way to bring the kids here. It is so worth it! The core values of the company are inclusive and respectful. It’s about lifting each other up and learning as we go. Kids learn more than just survival and swimming skills here. They learn what healthy teaching is, working together as a team, and working with each other’s weaknesses and strengths, to reach the end goal. There’s no judgment. Everyone helps each other out. I wish regular schools were able to be as wonderful as Aquatots Midvale is!

Don't transfer from another swim school if your kids know how to swim. We did a free trial lesson. They put my kids who have vastly different swim skills in the same class. My oldest swims laps. The younger one swims independently for 15-20 feet at a time. They had them practicing putting their faces in the water. They did not assess their existing skills at all and then recommended both kids stay in this class where none of the kids are actually swimming. They spent some time to ask me a bunch of questions about where they are at with swimming but then they wanted us to start in a beginner level. Ridiculous waste of time but at least we didn't have to pay for it. Signing up there would be a huge waste of time and money. There is also NO personal space on the bench for the kids. They have 4 kids crammed into a tiny corner. There is also no lifeguard.Facility seemed clean but one of the bathrooms did not even have a soap dispenser. If it's broken they should at least put some sort of soap in there for people to wash their hands.

We love my daughter coah, Kiara she's amazing!! My daughter feels so comfortable with her in the water, she has gain my daughters trust in the water and now she went under water twice. Huge accomplishment, we're also very happy with the front desk staff they're so great and so helpful with our needs. We're very happy and we can't wait to see our daughter future accomplishment.

Me and my wife love Aqua-Tots Midvale so much, our son loves his coach and the lessons are incredible. He has only been enrolled for a few weeks but has already made so much progress. We always feel so welcomed when we walk in the door and the school is always so clean. We highly recommend Aqua-Tots to anyone looking to get their kids into swim classes!!

We have been with Aqua-Tots for over one year and my little girl has loved several of the coaches and has learned very valuable life skills that will save her life.

The facility is incredibly clean and quiet. The instructors are very friendly at dismissal and positive in their approach. I felt the teachers collectively didn’t accurately evaluate our child’s swimming ability and due to the strict curriculum and lack of regular evaluation using the app, he remained on the same level until we quit. It was defeating

To many students for one teacher in the class for little kids. They are all supposed to stay to the side while the teacher helps one kid at a time. One of the students fell into the water and the teacher didn’t even notice! The mom of the child (who was watching) was banging on the glass to get the teachers attention. I pulled my kids out that day

I think the teachers and most things about this place are excellent. The progress I have seen in my own swimmer, both in and out of class, is fantastic and praiseworthy. Overall, I have good things to say about this place. However, for nearly a year this place has smelled like an unflushed toilet. It seems to me a solution could be found at this point. Even public bathrooms don't smell this consistently bad.

This school has the best classes. The facility isn't my favorite but I'm seriously considering switching my 12 month old to this school because the the swim class here is significantly better with smaller class sizes. Also we travel a lot as well and this place has the best schedule policy of all the swim schools hands down. I had tried a lot of different classes before choosing the place we are currently taking classes and didn't make it to Aqua-tots because I was so grossed out/disappointed from the other places that when I got to the school we go to now and saw how clean it was I didn't even care if the classes were gonna be amazing. I got the courage to try Aqua-tots free class and it was really awesome. I feel like my son got a lot more from the Aqua tot class with Carly

I would highly recommend this place. The small group sizes and the wonderful staff contributes to the success for your child to be safe around water.

This place is great! Such a warm welcoming environment with a nice area for watching as well as lots of changing rooms with changing tables and other amenities. The swim lessons are so much fun and keep the kiddos safe and entertained. We love that they welcome babies as young as 4 months to get a great foundation in the water!

We've been with Aqua-Tots for almost 2 years, and initially the experience was good. The management had an exodus last September, and this location has never recovered. Now we can't wait to finish the year's worth of lessons we prepaid for so we can be done. Here are some of our specific concerns. First, mychild passed the first level in three months and has languished on the next level for a year and a half. It seems like the schools gets you registered, shows some fast progress, and then milks you for all the money they can. We could have gone to a rec center and taken lessons for a quarter of the price and gotten the same quality. Another problem we've encountered are rude management. For example, after being told by 3 coaches that our child was ready to test for the next level, the coach quit. . . again. We approached the manager to see how we could get our child tested since we hadn't had a consistent coach for over a month. The manager's solution was to have her brand new coach who had never worked with our child test him. Because the coach didn't know our child or his abilities, she assisted with everything. The manager was condescending and rude when speaking to us afterward accusing us of wanting our child advanced when he wasn't ready, which wasn't the case at all. We were asking about testing because three separate coaches said he was ready. The manager also seemed clueless that having her brand new coach do the test wasn't an appropriate solution. We've also been through roving coaches. Part of what you're paying for at almost $30 per lesson is consistency. Poor management drove coaches out at an astonishing rate so having a consistent coach wasn't even possible. During this management fiasco, we called to cancel a lesson. Because we couldn't get through, we drove to the school to cancel the lesson. When we showed up, we found the only staff member was a single coach teaching a lesson in the pool. This is a liability - dangerous for the coach and the children. While management has changed and the new manager is more pleasant and the employees seem happier, she doesn't solve problems. Aquatots uses and app to give parents progress. It's April, and we haven't had an update since January. We notified the new manager a month ago that the app they transitioned to isn't updating, and we still have no access to our child's progress. Do yourself a favor - sign up at the local rec center for $6 per lesson and avoid the money drain.
