The staff was very kind and allowed us to take as much time as we needed with our Persephone even though they were nearing closing. They didn't make us feel rushed and were very empathetic and sympathetic to our situation. The doctor made sure to advise us on what to expect since I was holding her. They gave us the option of paying either before or after our trip in case we were too upset after she was gone. We had called around to check other places, but they were the only facility that you didn't need an appointment and didn't make you take the body elsewhere to have them cremated. Our normal vet required an appointment, making it feel impersonal and like nothing more than a business appointment.Although they were more expensive than some of the other facilities we spoke to, it was well worth every cent and next time we have to make this sad decision, we will only go to Blue Pearl.

My dog was hit by a car and we were absolutely devastated. I drove around to 2 vets that were both closed and finally found BluePearl was open on a Saturday. They took him back right away and were kind and gentle with us the whole time. Unfortunately, we had to put our sweet boy down after only having him in our family for 4 years. BluePearl was timely and professional while being warm and compassionate with us. The aftercare was done really well and we have a really nice paw print to take home and remember our buddy Charlie.

They didn’t do their job. My dog died because they didn’t do their job. They were very kind and very sweet, but When I went into their clinic, however, they didn’t do their job. My dog went in for vomiting blood and had severe severe abdominal pain. They did bloodwork they charged me $782 for and pain pills and anti-nausea pills to mask the pain and stop her from throwing up. They didn’t actually ever look into what was causing her to throw up, Or the excruciating pain that kept her up all night, other than the overpriced bloodwork. The bloodwork came back inconclusive. They never once pushed on my dog stomach or palpated her stomach, because if they had, they would have found a massive bowel obstruction. She had swallowed something that was blocking her intestine. They never once suggested an x-ray or an ultrasound. They told me to take her home, and that she must just have a gastrointestinal infection Gets worse to bring her back and then they would do an x-ray. I took my little 3 pound dog Home and gave her the pain pill and the anti-nausea meds, Which knocked her out and made her an Which knocked her out and made her a zombie, Which they said would happen. But she still didn’t eat for another day and a half. She started nonstop throwing up again The next day so I took her To a different all night emergency vet clinic in Orem, and within three minutes of looking over the bloodwork and actually feeling my dog’s torso, they found a mass in her stomach. Turns Out she had a massive bowel obstruction that was blatantly visible on x-ray And very palpable, had they touched her stomach at all. had they pushed on her stomach at all, they would have felt it. My dog hadn’t eaten for 3 days at this point and was weak and the bowel obstruction had been in there so long it had done damage and caused an infection by this point. They did an emergency surgery, put her on antibiotics, however, seven hours after coming out of the surgery she died From being too weak By that point and the obstruction being in there too long. Because they didn’t do their job, my little baby is gone forever and I will never get her back. Why didn’t they do an x-ray right then? Why didn’t they try to push on her abdomen? Why didn’t they find out what was going on causing her so much pain? This was their job to give me answers when I left. I wish I had been more adamant about getting answers, but I trusted them, and they understood with the bloodwork meant, I didn’t. But the bloodwork was inconclusive. It showed nothing. They didn’t even give her an antibiotic for this “G.I. infection” they said she had. My little Nori, only lived to be 11 years old because they didn’t bother to feel around her stomach or do an x-ray. $782 I spent, and they didn’t even do any x-rays. They didn’t even give her any antibiotics. I am absolutely furious with this Clinic and nobody should go to them. Their negligence caused them to overlook a serious and deadly issue she was having. I lost my baby because of their negligence.

Blue Pearl was literally a life saver for my dog. The facility was extremely clean and the front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The tech and veterinarian were also knowledgeable and professional. They worked very quickly to coordinate and expedite the process to get my dog referred to the closest and available same day, emergency surgery clinic within 1/2 hour of my dog's labs, x-ray results and diagnosis. I highly recommend Blue Pearl and will utilize their services again if, heaven forbid, I ever need them again.

They have been amazing for my cats when our original vet is closed in the evenings. I always trust that they will take good care of them and I love that they go over all pricing and ask what our budget is. I appreciate the workers here so much!

I was really impressed with the care that they gave my cat. They truly do seem like they care about their animals. They're very well priced and helped me a lot with further steps on how to help my cat. I'll also add that their rooms felt very clean. I'll definitely be coming back if my pets need help! My sweet cat Tee-tee seems happy about their care too. Thank you to everyone who helped!

Just before leaving town, I brought my cat in because I saw signs of urinary distress. I waited 3 hours, which wasn’t so much Blue Pearl’s fault because a passel of irresponsible owners let their dogs run without supervision and the dogs had been hit by cars. The clinician showed signs of stress because she’d been on call and had to rush in. After a 15 minute exam, she declared nothing was wrong with Mojo. By the next evening, he was dead.Money was no object and the clinician should have ordered a blood test. I’d had to leave town and our fantastic pet sitter (Golden Paws) called me when she discovered Mojo about 9 PM, howling in pain and asked for instructions. I gave her my credit card with instructions to spend whatever it took and to get him to the nearest vet hospital as fast as possible. Unfortunately BP was the closest after-hours facility. Christina is a hero because I think she broke the sound barrier getting Mojo to BP.The vet tech called me saying his potassium levels were off the chart and what did I want to do. I said to first make him comfortable but to save him if his condition was treatable. Before I was even able to answer, she said he’d gone into cardiac arrest. Normally I control my language but I asked how the hell he’d been given a clean bill of health the night before and now he is dead. She didn’t want to discuss it at the time. Perhaps he was terminal but knowing ahead of time would have given me a chance to prepare to make his last hours comfortable and without being afraid. Instead, he ended in pain, not understanding why his owner wasn’t there.Money was not the object so there is no excuse for a misdiagnosis. It did however, cost well over $1000, and BP reception wanted a commitment before they would admit Mojo. I try not to think of him suffering in his carrier as the credit card was being processed. If you can help it, go to Advanced Veterinary Care or Medvet. Vets need to be paid but Medvet and AVC showed much more of a sense of urgency to attend to my pets, at least appearing to prioritize the animal’s health over being paid. We have Pumpkin pet insurance on file at both. BP, you can reply all you wish about how seriously you take feedback and how your staff works tirelessly, but these are the facts, I am the customer with experience with all three facilities. Don’t waste time with a reply rich with buzz words…just take the feedback and improve yourselves.

If you want to be upsold while you’re dealing with a medical emergency for your pet…this is the place for you!!! After a medical emergency with my pet at 12:30 in the morning, they sold me over $200 worth of medication that my regular vet said the next morning we didn’t need. When we called to ask if we could return the unopened medication to them less than a week later they refused. They said they thought our dog needed the medication and they wouldn’t take it back regardless of what our regular vet said.Great way to take advantage of people who are distraught over a medical issue with their pets. Pretty scummy way to do business.
