“This location usually has a wide selection. Employee that attended me was friendly. But would like to see better customers service. With shorting the lines in a timely manner. Not just in this location, but all Dollar Trees. On this day some customers left their purchase, because of this. A third employee thought two could handle it. She could have been a great help. For those two employees, "GREAT JOB".”
“This is by far the best dollar tree I've been to in the whole salt lake valley. Went in for plastic wrap, and to grab a few items. What I encountered was an excellently run store.
There were employees being trained on balloon inflation, and string attachment, and several employees working on stocking shelves. The main problem with most dollar trees are unorganized shelves, or shelves with no product. It was refreshing to see a store that was well stocked with everything I needed (and more)
When I was looking at ramen noodles I asked an employee (Charles I believe) if he had ever had the new tonkatsu ramen. He hadn't but said that he made a cobbler with some canned cherries and brownie mix recently. I got those cherries and brownie mix and made it. It was fantastic!
The store was busy, and kinda hectic due to the amount of people. I believe that is a testament to the quality of this store, even the checkout process was quick. Several customers in front of me with full carts and two cashiers. I only had to wait a couple minutes. I failed to get my cashier's name, but she was pleasant and deserved a shout-out!”

Not only was he helpful as the cashier and very pleasant to talk with, but also went into the back room to find a product that I was looking for that was not stocked on the shelves. “I have worked at this location for 4 years and I’ve outlived several managers and many, many other employees. I think our store now is the cleanest it’s ever been, and so much better stocked. Our manager Johnny is great, as long as you are working and not on your phone for you whole shift, put your phone away, you’re not being paid to text on your phone. Come visit our store.”
“Almost the same products as Dollar tree but higher prices. Both are owned by the same parent company, and Family Dollar does have more and better products. The reason I go here is to load my AMX prepaid card because they don't charge a fee to do so. Walmart where I got the card years ago now charges you $4.95 to load a card now.”

“I went in for men's hair dye and they had my colour as usual. I usually go to another location but they do not carry men's hair dye. A great savings! I also get my candles and rubbing alcohol and peroxide. They have big bottles.”
“I left my wallet at the Family Dollar last week. The manager found my wallet and locked it up for me. To my surprise when I returned the wallet was there with all of my cash in it. There was a lot of cash. I'm so grateful to the manager. I can't tell you what a relief it was. What a pleasant experience I had and I hope that you will visit family Dollar in Taylorsville, Utah. “This Family Dollar always has everything one might need, all in one place. I run in and get bathroom tissue, sometimes some shampoo or bath soap. They have bathroom accessories(shower curtains and bath mats, etc) as well as inexpensive comforters and so forth. I love a few of the items that they carry. I hope that they are always at this location....because they are very accessible for me and my family. This store is great to run in and get cereal, some canned goods, they also have a frozen foods section. Either way...I love that the store is just the right size for someone with arthritis that can be problematic at times...it has good prices that are competitively priced with surrounding stores, and the employees are always nice. All in all-- great little location....never overwhelmed or too busy. It is a little gem in the middle of the city.”
