Each and every one of my interactions with Mountain America Credit Union is of the highest quality. Even if I have a problem with my account, they are always extremely patient and considerate in helping to resolve them. I can honestly say I love this institution and my life is better for having them as a part of my finances and financial future.

I visited this branch on 2/10/24 and the bank teller was outstanding and went above and beyond. I was selling my used car and the buyer and I went to the branch to deposit the cash. The buyer and I spoke different languages. The teller was fluent in both and REALLY helped with translation of the brief bill of sale and to determine if he had any outstanding questions. I wish I got her name! This also helped ease my concern about my normal branch, Cottonwood Heights, closing at the end of the month.

As a minority business owner, I absolutely despise coming to this branch I will in fact go out of my way to try to go to other branches and it’s so inconvenient. Not to pull out the race card, but it seems like only minorities have this issue, from looking at the reviews. It’s very unfortunate that a business, especially a credit union, this day and age will allow workers to behaving this manner. I absolutely love Mountain America, and love the way I am treated at other branches, Do better mountain America!

Some years back I deposited $20 in the ATM. It rebooted in the middle of my transaction and my deposit wasn't credited. The branch wouldn't do anything about it when I contacted them about the issue. This branch sucks but others are better.

The ATM is extremely inconvenient at night, you’re not able to deposit money. During the weekend it seems like you can never deposit money since the function says it’s unavailable. Try a different place if you’re trying to deposit.

First of all, I’ve been banking with mountain America for the past 6-7 years, and it’s been mostly a good experience that’s why so keep making business with them. Sadly not all the branches works the same way..This place is the worst in in utah.I’ve moved to a new place like 4 months ago, today was the second time coming to this place to deposit a check with a big amount. I talked to someone in the computers and asked for help. I told the guy (which is Latin same as me) what I needed and with an attitude he told me to sit down. I explained him what I needed to do with the check because normally I went to the Provo location which is great with costumer service by the way..I told him that I need to have someone authorized the check because I did this many times, so I know the process.. he started asking me a bunch of weird Questions and gave me a really bad attitude. I ended up getting mad at the situation because he wasn’t there to give me options of possibilities to answer my needs.This is actually the second time that this happened to me in this branch, I had another situation with another loan officer or whoever is in the computer’s..This old lady, tall and very overpower on her duty’s gave me a very aggressive answer for something she didn’t even had authority to decide to, I asked her if she was the manager and told me not.This is a big reason for me to close my account here and go to another bank or credit union entity..I also opened another business account with UCCU, they’re doing much better than mountain America. So now I use them instead of mountain America. I keep all the money there. I do the payroll and all the expenses with them. this is the reason why I decided to keep my business account with someone else.you guys should trained way better about costumer service and how to help people, because of the people that works in this branch made this dumb situation something very problematic.( the tellers are a whole different thing just to clarify)It’s so dumb that I can’t even use the closest branch to my house because of this situations

Mountain America gave me a really bad experience. I suffered a process of fraud and wasn't assisted in any moment. Lost over $500 in one day and the manager from costumer care told me that it was my problem. They also keep making you pay for unnecessary fees. Quick tip: there are better banks to open your account.

I had to deposit two ee series savings bonds. I do this each month and often I have difficulty in cashing them because the tellers have not had enough experience in processing these bonds. On Monday I was greeted immediately by a very smiling young woman which was a good sign for me as a lot of times tellers will avoid eye contact with senior citizens and I experience this often but not that day. She was very pleasant and knew exactly how to process my bonds and was very fast in giving me my receipt and telling me to have a wonderful rest of my day. She was great and sure helps me want to come to MACU to cash these bonds as I am a member of multiple credit unions and now for sure MACU for more money needs. Sorry I did not catch her name but she was fantastic!

Fast location, able to get everything done within my 30-minute lunch break and grateful that's possible. Always quick to accomplish the task when you get to the counter, you can tell they're all great at their jobs! Way to go, glad this location is close to work.

Chloe at the Union Park branch was fantastic! she was able to re-issued a credit card and a custodial account debit card that was sent to me and got lost. I got both cards within a couple of weeks!She was friendly, efficient and got a hold of the right person to solve my issue. Keep up the good work, girl!
