Have purchased at least four cars from these guys over the years. They really treat people fairly. They would rather give you a better deal and have a return customer. You're fair with them, they're fair with you.
They have my respect and became people I actually call friends.
I recommend these guys to anyone looking for a used car in the area because I know they treat people right.

Monte is great, I’m out of state and he worked with me to ensure I was getting a good car. Test drove the vehicle for me and noticed a mechanical issue that they resolved. Super transparent, would highly recommend.

**Update**
We bought the car. 5/5 would recommend this place to everyone I know. honest, fast and great prices. They give you that local small business family vibe which is great to have in a sometimes stressful transaction like getting a car!
Havent purchased yet. its a potential right now. but customer service alone deserves 5 stars! they remembered my name when i came back from the test drive! very honest vibes as far as pricing etc. car we are looking at is great value . below market

Finding a good used car these days for college kids is a challenge. But when we stumbled on Peterson auto, we were super happy with the options available to us. The team is amazing and there was zero pressure to buy. We lucked into this low mileage Yaris that now calls Logan home. Thanks Jeanne for being amazing!

Painless experience. Kanden was a pleasure to deal with and actively sought out ways to help me out (such as making sure to fill it with gas before I left, which was a nice touch). The dealership has a very family vibe to it and is the exact opposite of other places I've been to (in a good way). Highly recommend them!

This was such a lovely place to buy a car! Very friendly and honest, I felt so comfortable here! All their cars are very clean, even the clunkers are well taken care of. There was zero pressure, they listened carefully and were very proactive in helping me as best they could. Perfect customer service, very nice people! I am so happy with my purchase and this is my top recommendation for other people!

Purchased my first vehicle here back in 1998. I am happy to be back 27 years later purchasing another vehicle from them. I absolutely LOVED my saleswoman (Jeanne). I could have sat and talked with her all day. So so kind. I feel their pricing is fair, they don’t pull any BS. The process was quick, honest and easy. Peterson Auto is great! So many used auto dealerships are sketchy -- not this one. I was blown away at how much better the experience was compared to other times I have purchased a car, including at the big dealerships (where they are also usually sketchy). Everything at Peterson was straightforward, transparent, low stress, and friendly. Monte and his crew are awesome. They sell cars by building relationships and trust, not by pressuring or tricking you into anything. There are so many good reviews here... and the few negative ones you can safely ignore.
You might see cars listed for a little bit less at other places, but they do that to get you in the door and then sneak on as many fees and extras as they can get away with.
Peterson is a real family business that has been around forever. If they don't have the car you are looking for on the lot, they can get it for you. I don't ever want to buy a car anywhere else.
