horrible experience. avoid this company at all costs. ordered a gun online delivered to winchester, va. 3 + hours checking out. discrepency is what i paid online versus scan out at the register. unable to straighten it out acknowledge i have receipt and paid for the rifle but i had to hang around for hours while they work on 'system error'. i wish i could give them -5 starts. firearms manager and store manager offer a lot of excuses but have failed to return my call for further explanation. do not order online with this place.. too big, worse than walmart. they do not care about the customer

Reached out about a price matching issue & never heard back. Figured out why they have a guarantee price match on the front of the store. "IF" you find the cheaper price, great they match it & claim to beat it by 1%but if not they just gouge you with their high prices.I found an item alot cheaper & asked them if they would match it over the phone & they said yes.I got there & they looked at the ad and said yes it's legit we'll match it.... Then the manager looks at his cost on the item & said "I'm sorry we can't match this, we'll lose our a$$... It's lower then what we pay for it?Hows that the customers problem!That's False Advertisement!

Customer service for sw is absolutely worthless. Girl I spoke to was rude and refused to let me speak to a supervisor. Never got a call back from the next level team which I don't think exists. Definitely thinking twice about any money I spend at any of their stores.

Staffed by a bunch of crooks. Both times I used my credit card to buy something online from Sportsman's Warehouse my credit card number was stolen. This tells me it was an inside job. In this last case, they used my number to buy something to pick up in the store, the dumbass checkout staff didn't even bother to check the person's ID. I would avoid this merchant

On 11/24/23 I called 3 times. Asked to speak with a manager. I was told by all 3 representatives that the manager couldn't do nothing for me . That would not connect me with a manager.

Ordered an optic, and when I received it, it was used. There were markings on it, like it was mounted. How the heck are they going to charge me a new price for a used optic?Side note: Whenever you buy a firearm see if you can get them to get you a new one from the back many times when the store was slow I would see the employees mess with the guns. They were constantly racked and dry fired(no snap cap) and slam the slide into battery on an empty chamber.

Bought cooler online for pick up at my local store. Next day it shows delivery as delayed, called the store and was told that it was not in stock and the system will search for the product and it will come from another store or the warehouse, may take a few days to a week. 4 days later I email customer service as it still shows delayed and now no store in my state has the item but their other stores in the states surrounding me has it in stock. Day 5, emailed that the order is cancelled, money to be refunded. I lost out on a 25% discounted item, no alternatives offered, nothing. Very poor PR and CS. Too bad, I like my local store, I like the employees...BUT there are many alternate alternatives to SW and their online CS should stive harder.

Poor staffing levels. Apparently not busy according to google. Tried to pick up a firearm I had brought online. Ignored for 15mins so I bailed… there are probably better places to buy from in SLC

Sold me a $500 spotting scope that had a scratch on the lens. Then would not order me another non used scope. So when I decide to just return the used junk they passed off as brand new the manager Denisse Cervantes refused to give me any receipt saying I had returned the used but sold as new item. I asked for her to just order me a proper new scope and was told I would have to go online and order it and it would be 2 weeks plus before I was refunded for the swap meet junk they were trying to pass off as new. If I was leupold they should think twice before allowing these people to sully the brand by passing used items as new.

Never again. Mail order from now on. Better prices, less attitude, better selection, I don't have to drive or park. Stores scream "please buy local" and then they drive you away with terrible customer support.

Shipped incorrect firearm. “Management” in customer service said they couldn’t exchange for the correct item as there are none in stock as well as I had already taken possession. They then had the audacity to try this gem of an excuse; best thing they could do for me is to advise I should call browning and plead my case as sportsman’s has no control over what firearms are shipped to them from the manufacturer. I will be addressing with The BBB, Indiana AG’s office and Applied Ballistics (FFL distributor)

Applied and received a rewards card "there store only credit card" . I tried to make a on-line purchase. The sight said sorry can not complete. found out the bank they use for there rewards card says I now have $429 charge pending . I called the main office at the sportsman warehouse. They can see the on-line the purchase attempt so they trid to complete there . They can not complete the sale or remove the pend charge told me to wait 5 -10 days it should come off. The on-line specialist tried to complete the order from her end ,at the main corp office . She said the computer said she must speak to a customer rep. as well. What kind mess did I get myself into getting a rewards card here . I should have looked at the BBB rating I believe its a "F"

Sportsman warehouse falsely advertise they price match. They purposely load and correct part numbers and deny customers price match due to fraud system. I recently called the 800 number and spoke to the supervisor name Cameron explain that it was the same item. Although the item was the same I was denied a price match, I asked to speak to a manager, Cameron said you’re as high as you’re going to get which is very unprofessional and then asked for the name of her manager and she says I don’t have to tell you. I responded perhaps you should read her employee handbook and her response was why do you have one? She proceeded to tell me that her managers name is Gator, and she was based out of Salt Lake City Utah. The item I was trying to price match is a PM9 Kahr pistol. Sportsman’s warehouse #PM9094N which does not exist on the manufacture website and the correct part number is PM9094NA and is available on multiple websites across the country East Coast West Coast for $200 or $180 less Sportsman warehouse website. I provide multiple websites with in stock and not on sale item still declined the price match.All buyers beware please review Better Business Bureau and you’ll see this business is graded an F. The Bass pro shop and Cabela’s, Sportsman warehouse are own by the same group. I suggest you buy somewhere else. Very dishonest business and awful business practices.
