They need to, at a minimum, keep the store clean, pick up the refuse off the floor, organize it just to at least a nominal level, and train their employees. What a sad waste of a premiere location in a prime retail shopping center. This issue is owed to mismanagement, either or both local or hq. Either way, this business will not survive in such a pathetic state.

I was expecting a quick visit with just rabies but the didn't realize my dog needed all vaccines done as they are just yearly. The basic package price with rabies is as much as going to the vet and then doing a checkup, expect there is no checkup here, just vaccines so not worth the price. I wouldn't recommend.

We had an appointment booked and confirmed via text for 3pm on 8/1. After receiving a voice-mail from someone in their office, they arbitrarily canceled our appointment and gave it to someone else. This place is extremely unprofessional and I will highly consider never using their services again. No one will provide a single reason as to why it was canceled and the voice-mail said "we're overbooked and this is just a wellness check so we're canceling it". I have never been more unimpressed by a company's actions as this.

4 employees standing around, no one offered to help, no one acknowledged me at the checkout counter. So many dead fish. Poor husbandry.

I brought my puppy in to get his vaccinations, I bought the vaccination package and they said we were all set. Come to find out a few months later they did not give my dog his rabies vaccination! I have never been more upset!!!! Rabies has fatally rate of nearly 100%!!! If not caught within the first 24 hours your pet will DIE! I thought my dog was protected!!! HE WAS NOT!!! Had he been exposed he could've died! And it would've been this vets fault! Never going here again! I will never trust these people with my pet again!!! THEY ARE AWFUL!!!

Im not sure why every other review is complaining about price. My cats neuter surgery ended up costing 1/2 as much as our local animal hospital (Copper View) was wanting to charge. All the staff was great! Laura greeted us when we came in, and also help answer any concerns we had that the doctor didn’t go over. She even called the day after to check on how he was recovering. Will definitely come again. They cared for my baby as much as I do.

My 9 week old Puppy was seen by Dr. Gold. For normal vaccines, and to address the concern of blood in our puppy’s stool. He said it was likely an environmental change, gave him probiotics and sent us on our way. Not one test was performed. Well- our puppy got worse, so we had him seen at CopperView in Riverton (highly recommended BTW) . It was discovered that our poor little guy has Giardia. Had we continued to assume it was environmental as Dr. Gold had suggested, the outcome wouldn’t be good for our puppy (or us).Can’t trust Vetco with our puppy’s life, therefore I strongly advice going elsewhere.

Had a previous horrible experience at this particular location & vowed never to go back. However, my puppy LOVES the treats from their treat bar that they sell by the pound. We recently ran out & so we went for a quick shopping trip. Let my puppy sniff & shop around. He loves to shop! LOL This shopping experience was much better. The gentleman working the register was very cheerful & friendly, He doted on my puppy & was simply lovely to him. Called my puppy by name & gave him a free treat. We feel so much better about coming back to this Petco location now.

WILL NEVER COME BACK!!!!The grooming staff was rude and harsh. My puppy needed a nail trimming. When they got Him back on the table and clipped him in they started to clip his nails. I let them know when I dropped him off he has anxiety, and doesn't like his nails done! I was watching them clip his nails the entire time, he doesn't like it but what dog does! I Watched every second of it. And when they brought him out they said he's not allowed back because he tired to bite. And Dude I saw the whole thing he did not try to bite at ALL. The lady also said that it's mostly my fault that he acted like that because I didn't put him in training already and I should put him in hard training. DUDE MY DOG IS 3 POUNDS & IS STILL A PUPPY & HAS ANXIETY!!! Don't tell me how to take care of my puppy and don't be rude and say rude things about my ability to care of him !!! 1000000% do NOT Recommend!!!!

This is based on an experience I had a few weeks ago. I brought my staffordshire terrier in to be groomed. She's the sweetest dog, and incredibly friendly but gets nervous with loud noises and when people touch her feet. I did tell the groomer this and asked that they let me know how it went. I don't know what happened but I received a voicemail saying my dog was "very aggressive" and when I tried to ask questions the kid at the front desk just said they couldn't finish her nail trim because she didn't want her feet touched. I believe they had a preconceived image of my pup because she is a mini pity and used language that was quite offensive. The customer service here sucks and my dog also had a little mark on her neck when I picked her up. Because of the experience I had, I now take my dog to Dog Zone in Sandy where they are much more welcoming and very sweet. I'll never take my pup in to be groomed here.
