I really wanted to like Viking Auto after reading the reviews. Sadly it did not live up to the hype. My 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan’s thermostat was stuck open and was throwing a code for cylinder 2 misfire. I dealt with Clayton. The first estimate sent to me after their inspection (which is several hundred just for them to look at it) was over $4,000. My main concern was the thermostat which they had the OEM part listed as $215 and change. Having replaced a thermostat in a different car in the past I decided to price check. OEM online was around $95. I contacted Plowgian auto and was quoted around $95. When I called Clayton and asked about the price for the thermostat he asked me in a condescending tone if I found that price on Amazon because he orders all his parts directly from Dodge and they are all OEM. He stated he orders hundreds of parts every week and always gets the best deals. It wasn’t until I told him Plowgian Auto quoted me the $95ish price that he said he would look into it and call me back. When he called back he said he had accidentally put the wrong part number in and it was in fact around $95. If he orders hundreds of parts every week he should have been able to see that price was more than double what a thermostat normally goes for. I had them go ahead and just replace the thermostat since it was already in their shop and I was already being charged for the inspection. When I went to pick it up Clayton, again in a condescending tone, said “I guess you are taking it somewhere else for the misfire then.” The misfire they wanted to charge me over $300 to diagnose only. A bottle of fuel injector cleaner in the tank cleared that up. Moral of the story, price check your quotes if you use Viking Auto.

These guys run the most thorough, helpful and transparent auto shop I’ve ever been to. They took as much time as I needed to talk me through every issue they found during the vehicle inspection. Pricing is reasonable and very well explained. I will absolutely be coming here for all of my car maintenance and repair needs from now on.

Tesla shop was backlogged 1 mo and my car was not safe to drive due to suspension issues after hitting a curb. Viking got me in quickly and took care of my Tesla. Smooth process from beginning to end. My friend recommended this place, said it’s an honest local shop.

Clayton and Steven are so great! I needed a wheel sensor installed and they were super helpful. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes. Very kind and great service- I was very impressed.

I was so impressed. My dash board light in my trunk were going on and off. They told me that it could be a replacement of an instrument panel board and the estimate of cost. After checking it out it turned out to be a module. I was very pleased and sappy with the service on my vehicle.
I would strongly recommend them.

I was traveling through and my front passenger seat control was stuck with seat too far front. In less than an hour they figured out the problem, manually moved the seat forward and orders the part needed to get it properly functioning again. Great service! Highly recommend!!

Clayton and the crew at Viking are the most helpful, honest, hardworking individuals. They helped us save thousands from a botched estimate from another shop by going over everything their competitors said was wrong and showed me personally what it does and should look like. Since I have had them service all of my vehicles as well as my fleet for the plumbing company I run. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

It was a really casual and no pressure place to bring my truck to. I didn't need any repairs, just a quick alignment and they were able to schedule me for a next day service and had me in and out in less than an hour. I'll definitely be planning to bring my truck here for future mechanic visits, thanks!

I just had my truck in to Viking Automotive with what I thought would be a really expensive repair. These guys were amazing at troubleshooting and honest about what was actually wrong, which ended up being a fraction of the cost. They were great to keep me informed and did the work in great time. I really appreciated their honesty and quality of work. I will definitely refer friends and family to them!
