Honestly the worst communication I have ever experienced. After two years of leaving voice mails and never being responded to, I've decided that taking my business elsewhere. Marty has cost me more money these last two years then I could have gonnen back. Definitely would never recommend doing you taxes or accounting here.

After 2 years of dealing with the IRS. I never received my return due to Marty messing up the years that coordinated with the correct W2. I was supposed to be getting over $3,000. There’s a 3 year period to get your money and it has passed due to the negligence and inconsistency from Marty Evans. I’ve called everyday for 2 weeks and left detailed messages to get my documents so I can sort this out and no one returned my calls. Which seems to be an reoccurring issue for them. I’m not doing it for any money now, I’m doing it so the IRS has correct info and I don’t get penalized. At this point, I’m sure this business isn’t too fond of me and I’m completely fine with that because they have scammed me out thousands of dollars. Please do not waste your time with this establishment.

I own a business and it was my first year filing. Marty was so good to let us know all the info we would need, explained to me other tips for helping me for the upcoming year. He also did our personal taxes and was very quick to get things filed! Can’t recommend enough!!!

He filed the wrong draft of my tax return. It was not the most recent one. It flagged the IRS so my return was held and not filed. I am not getting a response from multiple texts, calls and emails. This is the worst experience in business I have ever had. I am shocked that Legally Mine referred me to him.

I never do reviews but this one needs to be done. I needed 4 years of taxes to be filed and thought that tax pro could help me. Marty Evans was very helpful at first and said I would have my taxes in the next few weeks. A few weeks pass so I call him and leave a message for him to call me back. I waited a few days for a phone call(I understand it’s tax season and preparers are busy) So I call again and leave another message and I don’t get called back. Finally a week later I called again and got to talk to him. He said that he will check up on the status of my returns and call me back. A week goes by and he doesn’t call me back so I have to call him to leave another message. Finally I received 2 of the returns. Keep in mind that now he has been paid $800 for an hours worth of work. A few weeks pass and I’m still waiting for the 3rd return. It’s now been 3 months since I filed. So I call Marty again and I have to leave another message for him to call me back. I waited a few days and didn’t hear anything so I called again. The receptionist answered and quickly gave the phone to Marty and he said that he would check up on the status and give me a call back. I again waited a few days for a phone call. Nothing. So I called and left yet ANOTHER message for him to call me back. NOTHING AGAIN! By this time I was very angry and so I called again and left a vulgar message to him. FINALLY I GET A CALL BACK. Unfortunately I was in the shower and I missed it. He left me a 4 minute voicemail and a lengthy text about how he was disappointed that I decided to act and speak like that to his employees. He said that there was nothing else he could do and I would have to call the IRS myself. There’s obviously been a problem with my return and Tax Pro has failed/refused to help. I PAID A LOT OF MONEY TO BE TREATED LIKE GARBAGE. They charge $200 per year and anywhere else will charge you $120-150. Save yourself some stress, time, and money and go to any other tax preparer cause this company doesn’t care about their customers.

I used to hate going to the tax preparer. But that feeling changed when I met with Martin "Marty" Evans, CPA. He made me feel comfortable and gained my trust through his expertise. He teaches the subject to professionals and knows it inside out - I knew I was in good hands. It took him 1/2 the time it took my last preparer who seemed confused as to who I was every year. Marty was friendly, professional and easy to talk to. I recommend him highly!
