Facilities have gone downhill, just go look at the bathrooms. Last time I went in there it smelled like piss in the shower stalls and curtains were missing or torn off of their curtain rings. The gym is good, but very expensive.

I absolutely love this gym but for the love of everything PLEASE fix the women's showers. 3 out of 4 of them have dismal water pressure where it's literally impossible to shower as the water just trickles out and the 4th one doesn't drain properly so water floods onto the bathroom floor outside of the shower. Sadly, experiences like this make me want to cancel my membership because I prefer to work out in the morning and go straight to work. At the very least, I'll be going to the downtown location until the showers are fixed.

This is by far the best and nicest climbing gym I’ve been to. There is so much bouldering on top of having numerous top rope, lead climbing, and auto belay routes. Their yoga classes were also a great way to add variety and they have great instructors. There is also a cafe and plenty of seating, so it’s even a nice place to hang out before or after your workout.

Was told I could only do Olympic lifts if I set the weight down or used 2 drop pads per side. I was using drop pads already and when I asked why one set of pads wasn't enough the staff said "it's too loud". Before joining the gym, I asked multiple staff members if Olympic lifts were allowed and dropping the plate after a successful power clean/snatch was okay. Each staff member assured me that it was okay. Had I known, that I wouldn't be able to lift unless I used two drop pads on each side I wouldn't have joined the gym, as two pads puts the bar too high to have proper technique. I sincerely hope the Olympic lifting class is taught correctly and not encouraging controlled lowering of the bar after a successful lift under heavy weight. Do better Front.

Amazing rock climbing problems. Huge walls for top roping and leading. Bouldering area is pretty sizable too. The gym is pretty pricey which is the only reason I'd give it 4/5 stars

For $100 a month you should get showers that are clean and work. I’ve been coming here for half a year now and yes the walls and building are beautiful. Unfortunately the facilities aren’t maintained. I’ve been in truck stop bathrooms that are cleaner. And the water pressure in the men’s restroom is bar none the lowest/worst I’ve ever come across ever. (And I’ve lived in several third world countries!!) I want to love this place but every time I go to shower before I leave I’m reminded of how far it falls below its potential. Would love to see them address these issues. I’ve talked with staff before and it seems to go unaddressed. In defense of the front, I have yet to find a climbing gym with clean bathrooms. Maybe it’s just a climbing thing. ??♂️

Great gym! The membership/billing service team has major issues through. I’ve had previous complaints about them, but This morning I was charged $210 for nothing, without warning. And the people who work the desk are not equipped to resolve issues like this, so I’m stuck with an overdrawn account until Monday at least. Loved the gym but the admin stuff is infuriating enough to swear it off.

Amazing place. Can't be missed. Overall a better climbing experience then the gym at 1300s. More tricky slabs and verticals. A lot of cool boulders.

Nice looking gym but got to be one of the most over priced gyms I have seen. Who wants to pay $66 to climb with your partner for 1 day? They seem to try to charge for every little thing and just really takes away from the experience. Feel bad for someone who really wants to climb but are stuck with these crazy prices.

Love the facility and the auto belays so I can climb by myself. Staff had been great and lots of quality workout equipment. Pretty crowded, which is the only negative I’ve seen, but it’s because it’s a great place.

VERY clean and nicely organized climbing club with friendly staff! Besides climbing, they have other fitness classes, too. Check them out. I was impressed.

I love this one so much more than the SLC because the layout feels more cohesive. The auto belay routes seem to be easier for beginner climbers as well. It's also freaking awesome they have yoga and jui-jitsu classes as well. I haven't bought any gear yet but it's all brands I recognize and would purchase. They also have a cafe to get healthy and delicious food options that I'm excited to try out. I did a climbing test and the instructor was very nice and helpful, building my confidence. Overall, I love going here and don't feel intimidated at all as someone brand new to this sport.

We came here while visiting from out of town, to do some bouldering. It's a beautiful gym! The problems were fun and challenging. Everyone we talked with (staff and other climbers) were super friendly, a very welcoming vibe. Will go back whenever we're in SLC!

I love climbing at the Front South Main! The top rope walls are super tall, and there are 3 different bouldering walls. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Awesome!

Beautiful indoor rock climbing gym with huge wall for bouldering and rope climbing but I especially enjoyed their cafe. Great coffee and sandwiches served daily.
