“Our Vanagon transmission got as close to exploding as possible. We were near Moab when it happened. After getting a transmission rebuilt at German Transaxle in Bend OR, we returned to Moab with a shiny new transmission.
Brian and Jessica with Stotz Moab were the only shop willing to work on an old Vanagon. Brian was incredibly competent and very understanding that we had a lot of money into our van. He completed the job in 4 hrs. The van is running perfectly (at least the parts he worked on) and we are headed home. Huge thanks to Brian and Jessica.”

“Under promise and over delivered told us it would be 3 hours. It ended up being two. Furthermore said he wouldn't fix it unless it was absolutely safe which mattered a lot to me since my entire family was in the car. Highly recommend these people for The unfortunate flat tire!”
“i was stuck in Moab, UT on my trip, due to a fuel problem.Parriott's Garage had me come in the next day and solved the issue within an hour. They are kind, professional and honest.”
“This guys are the best! They know what they doin! Got hands on super quick and the car was up and running really nice! Also, they give you an insurance for the parts they had to buy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Wow these guys really saved me. Rolled into Moab with brakes and rotors that had worn out on Friday night. Point S team was able to fix up the GX and was back out on the trail by lunchtime Saturday -- saved the trip. Thank You”
“A friend of mine as used Tic Tac Tow and had only good things to say about their services. WARNING - I personally used Desert Hill Towing, out of Green River (30min from Moab). I had an awful experience with them. I called to get my camper van towed as I got stuck in a soft gravel road. Someone came an hour later to assess the situation and gave me a price of $150hr, and said it would cost me $300 (travel time) plus the time to get the van out, so roughly $375-400 as it was an easy tow. He came back with a tow truck and someone else that seemed to be his boss. After not even 30min, the van was out and I then got told that it would cost me $800! After explaining to his boss the deal his colleague and I had made during its first visit, he wouldn't listen to me. We ended up calling the police who spent an hour trying to solve the issue. The police did confirm to me that this price was way off for a 2.5 hr service and that such practices have been seen before. I ended up paying $520. Desert Hill Towing can not be trusted and I strongly recommend not using them. There are other good companies out there like Tic Tac Tow.”
“We needed a quick tow out of the mud with our big RV - and they did an incredible job. They got here in just 15 minutes and helped instantly. Their prices were not only super fair, they were also the cheapest option we found. Very friendly and nice guys that you should give a call if you need a helping hand with your vehicle problems!”
