“I can’t say enough good things about MCJ Tire and Auto Repair in Moab and the owner, Marco.
I was in a really bad situation with a trailer tire that was constantly leaking air. I was about 15–20 minutes outside of Moab and called four or five different tire shops looking for help. I explained that I could be there around 4:30–4:40 PM, but since they closed at 5:00, none of the other shops were willing to wait or help me that late.
Then I called MCJ Tire and Auto and spoke with Marco, the owner. I explained my situation and told him how far away I was. Without hesitation, he told me to come in and that he would wait for me.
I arrived around 4:40 PM. Marco not only fixed the leaking trailer tire, but he went above and beyond what I ever expected. Instead of rushing me out because it was closing time, he stayed until around 6:00 PM, checked everything over, and made sure all of my tires were safe and ready for my trip back to Texas.
That kind of customer service is extremely hard to find. I was hundreds of miles from home, dealing with a problem that could have left me stranded, and Marco treated me like helping me was more important than watching the clock.
I genuinely don’t have the words to describe how appreciative I am. Marco, thank you for taking care of me when nobody else would.

“Friendly, knowledgeable staff and quick turn around. Our RV tire was not going to last another drive day but we were only in Moab for a night. We called Grand Tire Pros - they didn't have the tire we needed but found one they could affordabily get by the next morning. We brought our tire in first thing next morning and within two hours we were headed back to our rig to install the new tire. We made it over the mountains and are headed back to Iowa, thank you so much for your help in our time of need!”

“Our Vanagon transmission got as close to exploding as possible. We were near Moab when it happened. After getting a transmission rebuilt at German Transaxle in Bend OR, we returned to Moab with a shiny new transmission.
Brian and Jessica with Stotz Moab were the only shop willing to work on an old Vanagon. Brian was incredibly competent and very understanding that we had a lot of money into our van. He completed the job in 4 hrs. The van is running perfectly (at least the parts he worked on) and we are headed home. Huge thanks to Brian and Jessica.”

“Moab Mobile Mechanic -- Matt is the best! We took our 2018 Jeep JLU Rubicon to Moab for a once in a lifetime vacation and our oil cooler went out. Disappointing, but Matt took great care of us and we did get some trails in with our own Jeep after two days with a (great) rental. Matt met us on short notice and we stood by while he took the top end of our 3.6L Pentastar engine apart, made the repair, and put it all back together from memory, showing that he really knows Jeeps like the back of his hand. He replaced the plastic oil cooler with a metal replacement from Dorman, which should last us a very long time. Matt is personable, an expert in his field, and more than reasonably priced for a mobile mechanic. Not only can he repair your vehicle where it sits, but he can do that on the trail and at the worst of times. We very highly recommend Moab Mobile Mechanic for any repairs in and around Moab. I only wish he was closer to where I live! Thanks Matt!”

“These guys were super helpful on a holiday weekend when no other place was open. They squeezed me in since I was traveling through. They didn't have the part but ordered it and took me in Saturday morning to make sure I could leave town. Figured out where my coolant was leaking and replaced my radiator really quick.
