Archway inn across the street is like 10$ more. They have an indoor hot tub and the laundry costs 3$ for wash and dry, at gateway the laundry is 10$ per load so ends up being as expensive as archway inn which is nicer.

This was one of the worst places we stayed on pur whole trip. The service was curt and basically downright rude, there is rubbish and old broken seats outside, the room was filthy with holes around a dangerous plug in the bathroom, bedding was thin, yhe lights were torn and old, the whole place was awful. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

It met my needs, if not necessarily all my wants. Clean and tidy rooms and public areas. The night light in the bathroom was a nice touch. They could upgrade the complimentary breakfast by adding oatmeal, bananas, and some other healthy food offerings, such as whole grain or multi-grain bagels.

If you really want to stay at this hotel, you’d better read these reviews carefully and prepare yourself mentally.
• Room: The king bed room is very damp and has a moldy smell.
The TV is about the size of a computer monitor.
There’s a fridge on the desk, and when it turns on, you absolutely won’t need an alarm clock to wake you up.
There are very few outlets; you can’t plug in chargers at the bedside without sacrificing the lamp socket.
The old-fashioned phone is very dirty—don’t use it.
The windows cannot be opened, so the room has no ventilation.
The air conditioner is installed indoors, but it’s better not to turn it on, otherwise in the unventilated room, mold circulates repeatedly and your lungs have to filter the air.
• Bathroom: The exhaust fan is very noisy.
The exhaust fan’s noise perfectly matches the wilderness atmosphere of the national park.
It’s damp, corners are moldy, and the bathtub is slippery—extra caution is needed.
• Hallway: The carpet is extremely dirty.
• Other: There is no elevator.
After a full day of exploring the national park, it thoughtfully gives you another chance to work out.
The disposable coffee cups are very poor-quality foam cups—using one is basically poisoning yourself; a “test” of your body’s resistance.
• Service: The word “service” has nothing to do with this hotel!
You’ll realize it the moment you step into the front desk.
The man at the front desk is always on a headset talking on the phone, more like a CEO busy in meetings than hotel staff.
Even after paying online, they still require your credit card information for authorization.
This policy must change, as it poses a serious security risk.
Summary: Don’t trust any replies from the hotel owner, because they don’t want to make any changes—they only want to take your money! This is true!
They won’t even make simple improvements.
That’s why their reviews are so bad. Don’t talk about discounts; the cleanliness is worse than some motels, and they don’t even bother to pretend.
This hotel is completely unworthy of its price!
Its only advantage is being in the city of Moab.
Moab should be ashamed to have such a hotel.
It clashes with the beauty of Moab, and a hotel like this only tarnishes the town’s reputation.
If you still don’t believe these reviews, congratulations:
you’ve finally found a place where you can spend your hard-earned money to challenge your own tolerance.

Horrible people! Don’t stay here! Very very rude proprietor! Not to mention it is an old run down filthy place run by the worst imaginable people.

Best rates in town!! They have an upcharge for pets and I was told they have two rooms set aside just for those people. I'm allergic to most dog dander so this is great for me! If you're a camper or boondocker and just need a break and a shower, this is the place.

This is a 1 star hotel. It was disgusting. I felt dirty being in it. The TV was broke when we got there and the front desk came to our room barefoot to work on it and it grossed my wife out. I promise it's not worth the money you'll save.

I'm factoring the price into my review. 4 stars because it was a good price, but I did see what looked like a small roach scamper by in the room we were in. The fridge was very decent and the microwave was a communal one in the hallway.
The room was clean and odor-free. No smoke smells or otherwise.

Great hotel, great room. Only issue was the washer and dryer were not hooked up. Wonderfully friendly staff. Very nice stay.

I booked on priceline saying this place has a pool. The sign scratched out the part that they have a pool. Clerk was unhelpful and I got dinged for a cancelation fee through priceline. Its 106 in moab and that was the one amenity we were looking for. Ended up at the bowen motel, pool, bike wash and free laundry w/ detergent included!

DO NOT STAY HERE. You know it's bad when there is a sign in the bathroom on how to flush the toilet.
Checked in last night, and the desk person was lying on his bed in the office right in view of anyone checking in.
Beds were uncomfortable, pillows were, well, let's say you could buy a better one at the dollar store.
Free breakfast, if you want to call it that, look like it was 2 days old. Muffins were loose, and there no tongs to pick them up. They were smaller than bite-sized.
The front desk person did not even know the directions to the National Park, which is the main attraction in town.
The only good thing to say is that the room was clean.
This is a case where the cheapest is not always the best.

I had realistic expectations about staying at the cheapest hotel available in Moab. Overall, the rooms were clean and the beds were decently comfortable, shower had fine water pressure. Yes, it’s a little run down but it wasn’t disgusting or dirty. No pool, even though it is advertised. The breakfast also was very lacking and there is no protein available. But overall my stay was fine.

Stayed here for 2 nights due to the rest of Moab being booked up. The memory of this hotel will live in my children's memories forever.😂
