Sorrel River Ranch Resort and Spa is located in a quiet and pleasant area in Moab, near the river, with endless and beautiful views. The drive there through Castle Valley is very scenic and charming. This classy oasis offers a wonderful and amazing stay, with lovely rooms featuring spectacular views and clean, lovely decor. The staff truly makes the experience unforgettable, greeting guests with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Every member of the team goes above and beyond, from the kind and knowledgeable receptionists to the restaurant servers and maintenance reps. They offer incredible service, assist with every need, provide excellent recommendations, and share local tips, creating a memorable and special trip. Activities like guided ATV rides are highly recommended, with guides being extremely knowledgeable and making guests feel safe. However, it must be noted that there is a deeply concerning situation regarding a kitten on the property. The cat is kept tied with a rope day and night, which multiple guests have found to be inhumane, cruel, and immoral. The cat, which is affectionate and outgoing, cries when people pass by. This is in stark contrast to the ranch's other cats, which are free. Guests have expressed strong discontent, urging the ranch to free the cat.
Sorrel was an amazing upscale resort nestled in nature. Such an incredible way to experience nature, be surrounded by amazing hikes and Moab, all while being at a high end resort. The staff were so nice, the room was spacious and the food was great. So fun being able to bring our pup too!

I was able to spend one night here 29-30 Dec 2025. Loved everything about it. The room felt upscale western and was clean and had everything you'd expect and more. The staff was perfect: professional, courteous, hospitable, and accommodating. Setting: amazing. Highly recommend!!
