Set up one of thier ultimate test drives.....which was an ultimate let down. The car was not there, the manager said they were suppose to call, but did not. It sounds like this is common practice. This is a horrible buisness model.

This place is a joke. I rented a car, my pickup time was 5 pm, I got there at 5:03. Entire office was closed, shop workers said everyone was gone early for the weekend. I was charged for the entire rental. Owner would not even talk to me. Fat l*****

Used this Avis car rental a couple weeks ago to tour Southern Utah. They had the best prices & let us add another driver for free. Check in was so dang fast, we were out the door & in the car in less than 5 minutes!!!! Dropping off the car was that quick & easy also!!! Will definitely use this Avis again!!!?

Biggest joke of a company to ever exist the guy swiped my debit card for the wrong amount it declined because I didn’t have that amount in my account since he was swiping 2x the amount of the quote.. not even including the deposit. I gave him another debit card with five times the amount of funds in the account he stated it declined and I cannot rent a car until tomorrow I showed him my bank balance and he still refused to rent me a car such a joke do not use this company I’ve never used them before and will never use again gave me attitude and even his co workers joked about how moody he was.

Very great service. Good car, good attitude, good services. Dont pay airport fees, save a ton of cash, rent off airport sites. Less hassle, less time, Ober drivers will drop you off at their door. Dont spend more then you need. Visit Avis Off airport site and save a ton!!! Cars are also clean and ready to drive.

Ray is a completely rude person, he's impatient and inconsiderate. If you ask for a few seconds to check your time frames on your calendar he'll tell you he doesn't have time for this and keep pushing you until you decide to find somewhere else.

Absolute terrible experience. We had a rental booked months in advance for 6 pm, had the confirmation and everything. We show up to the counter at 6:03 pm only to be told by the rude and unhelpful pep boy exployees that we literally missed him by two minutes and that he told them his last rental was at 5 pm and to send anyone who comes after to the Avis counter at the airport. We call him and text him and no answer. Then he sends our calls straight to VM (how professional). We check our confirmation again and it's confirmed for 6 pm. The pep boy workers said “oh he wouldn't have left if he had a 6 o'clock appt and he'll be back tomorrow.†Uhh, right. We have a rental for tonight. And he did leave when he had a 6 o'clock and is now obviously ignoring us. We go all the way out to Avis at the airport who informs us they have nothing to do with this location and we never should have been sent there. We had to book a last minute more expensive rental and we never even got a courtesy call or text back from this dude who runs the Avis at pep boys. We filed a complaint and were told by Avis that this manager insists he waited on us until 6:05 (but I thought his last appt was at 5?) But we never showed. Upon us showing them call and text time stamps and welcoming them to review the security footage, they finally credited us. I would never use this location. Not only is he completely unprofessional but he lies when he's cornered. You've been warned!

My husband rented a car from here on Wednesday 21 November and ended up returning it a day earlier - however, he returned it at 3:15pm and apparently they close at 3pm.

Good car, nice guy, completely unreasonable gas charge. I had every intention of refilling the tank, and due to my son being up all night the night before with croup and a fussy 4 month old, we were running off to the airport late the morning we were returning the car, and we completely spaced refilling the tank. Come to find out, we were charged $150 for gas on that car! I know, I know - I initialed the "I will give you my first-born child if I don't fill up the tank" fine print when I rented. I am sure that the amount was discussed (interpretation: "skimmed over"), but being someone who ALWAYS refills the tank to avoid this very experience of being gouged, I accept responsibility for not completely paying attention to all the little fine print I was initialing, but my goodness! $10/gallon? Is it really that hard for Avis to provide customer service and fill up the tank? I would be happy to pay a bit of a premium - on the way to the airport I realized I hadn't filled the tank, and accepted that I would be paying $4-5/gallon, which to me seemed reasonable. I'm sure someone will say, "Well, is it that hard for YOU to fill up the tank?" Well, as it turns out, that morning, with a sick 5-year old and fussy 4-month old, yes - yes it was, apparently. Anyway, I'm sure ridiculous overcharges for fuel are the "industry norm", so that makes it totally acceptable in the eyes of the company. But what happened to a little common sense and decency when it comes to dealing with customers? I've learned my lesson. At all costs, refill the tank before letting Avis do it for you!

Was in Provo with a reservation through budget, budget dropped the ball horribly. Thankfully Avis was about 40 minutes away and able to accommodate me immediately! Woman at counter was busy but very helpful! Saved the trip!

This owner has 0 business sense. His nepotism towards his brother not telling me about charging an extra $700.00 for renting the cheapest care they had in the winter. The owner I talked to would NOT even work with me by doing the right thing. I told his brother I was going to drop it off in Arizona, again nepotism. The owner has lost thousands $$ in future business from me and others from his idiotic decision for NOT working down the price at ALL and having any integrity. Consumers beware. Also if he does not choose to negotiate the price I will take him to court. I know it will cost me but it will cost him $$ A lot more than $700.00
