HORRIBLE and condescending customer service. I was greeted kindly by a young woman and she pointed me to the bedding section. There were 3 employees in the back that were chatting behind the desk and ignoring me while I was pacing and looking for about 15/20 minutes. I really wanted help, but ended up picking something out anyways and headed to the main counter to check out. I asked if the people by the back counter were supposed to be helping me or if they were doing other things. The older white haired gentleman was incredibly rude and completely talked down to me. He kept saying “it’s not obvious to customers but they’re doing hard work.” I totally understand that if they’re working on projects that they might not be able to help me. That makes sense and I wouldn’t be upset by that! The man kept insisting and emphasizing that customers aren’t able to understand that they’re busy and working on different projects. The over explanation was so condescending and he talked to me like I was stupid. I ended up not making a purchase and I will not return.

I came in Needing a specific Jar. They didn't have them, I wanted to order them or do whatever I needed to do to get them. Laura didn't want anything to do with it. She was no help at all. If someone wanted to spend $120.00 on glass Jars where I worked, I would do whatever I could to get them ordered. She could have cared less. Also, her Denim jeans and Airpods didn't help the situation. Apparently no one cares anymore. So disappointing. Especially for their prices. The front lady tried to help me, but I just wanted out of there at that point.

Debbie is so amazing! She spent the whole night over the phone helping me place an order for my daughter’s nursery! She’s fantastic!! Will definitely be continuing to shop here because of her amazing customer service

My first time ever in a Crate and Barrel. I came into the store to pick up a wedding present from a registry and had the best experience I have ever had in a retail store. Ever! Heather was phenomenal!!! So friendly, so helpful. Please promote her and give her a raise bc she truly deserves it. I rarely leave Google reviews but I really wanted to get on her and give her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I’d give her ten if it would let me. Thank you, Heather! You are an absolute gem! 🥰🙏

Was helped by Rob, and he went above and beyond! He helped me out when my gift card was acting funny, and also offered to pack up my purchase in gift wrap for a bridal shower I was taking it to. Overall just a nice guy and I left with a restored faith in humanity. That man should get a raise!

Came in to replace a KitchenAid espresso machine and browse bath accessories. Unfortunately, no one greeted us or offered help for at least 30 minutes to an hour. While the Breville associate was kind and helpful, one of the floor associates, a larger man in a purple shirt (with glasses) working around 3 PM on 08/03/2025, displayed poor customer service. He stared and gave off a noticeably uncomfortable vibe. On the positive side, other associates we eventually interacted with were friendly and professional. Still, the initial experience left a bad impression, staff like that should not be representing the brand on the floor.

Wish I would have paid more attention to the one star reviews about the furniture, as it looks like a lot of other people are having issues like mine. Ordered the Lounge Sofa and ottoman, and both arrived damaged with significant wear on the fabric. They agreed to replace it and the replacement was in even worse condition. They agreed to replace it again. I asked what would be done to ensure the 3rd set would not arrive damaged, and the answer basically amounted to nothing. It would not be packaged any differently or shipped any differently, and the factory would not even know that it was a replacement (maybe they would do something differently if they knew). No surprise then that the 3rd sofa arrived damaged as well. Better condition than the 2nd one, at least. Now all they can offer is a measly 15% off or potentially roll the dice on another replacement. This has already been an almost year long process and I have no faith that another replacement would resolve the issue. I would rather return it and go elsewhere, but they will not accept a return since it is not one of their stocked fabric options. Really disappointed as I thought Crate & Barrel was better than this. I will look elsewhere for future furniture purchases.
Edit: It's been over a week since Lynette's response, but I haven't actually heard from anybody.

Very bad experience with these guys. We ordered a couch the second week of January. It is now 3 days away from April and the couch finally arrived. Legs on two different pieces were broken when they arrived and need to be replaced, and the depth of the seat cushions on two of the sections is 6 inches shorter than the sections of the rest of the couch. It looks ridiculous!
Upon calling Crate and Barrel to ask about getting these items replaced they informed me that it will likely be the same amount of time to get the short sections remade. So we are basically talking 6 months from the day I ordered the couch to getting it right. 3 months was already too long, and had I known in January that I wasn’t going to get my couch until April, I would’ve bought a different couch.

I have always had a good experience shopping here, but today we bought new dinnerware, which is a cumbersome thing to get and pack up, and everyone who helped us was so helpful and kind. We really appreciate being able to shop in person and get this kind of assistance!
