Select Health Advantage finally loaded my Healthy You rewards on my flex card. Thank you Select Health Advantage. Hopefully this year it won't take till next year to get them added to my card. But I do appreciate Select Health Advantage and choose them for 2024 health care.

12/23 Its really annoying and frustrating that they are getting rid of the coverage for my prescription medications AND the alternatives that are similar (like off brands) and that is why I have them 1 star. And their website can be difficult at times. And it does not show my family's coverage even though they are on the plan too. And other billing issues. Basically I'm thinking of looking elsewhere for coverage.UPDATE 1/24 the email they gave is automated and gets a generic reply on how to contact them in another way. Just the beginnings of having me run in circles. 0 stars

Communication with billing issues and claims is virtually non-existent, and finding out claims were denied for unknown or arbitrary reasons leads to surprise charges or lack of payment. Being notified of a denied claim months after being led to believe a deductible had been met, or being notified of a denied claim two days before a major procedure is just about criminally negligent. This needs to be fixed, whether by phone, text, or email way in advance of scheduled procedure dates, or as soon as a claim is denied.

I pay for the best plan they have, it’s extremely expensive but is a mother to two young children, I do not want to be left without coverage when I need it. I recently checked their website for a covered, in-network provider, made an appointment with that provider, and went in for my appointment today. When I arrived, though, I was informed that the provider was not in network. I called Select Health to check, and they admitted the website was wrong and that they had to fix it. When I asked if my appointment would be covered because of the misinformation, they said that because the service wasn’t yet rendered then it was not covered. However, if I’d seen my provider before calling them then it would’ve been covered, but because I was calling before I physically saw the doctor, they wouldn’t cover it. They went so far as to clarify that it was because I was asking for permission rather than forgiveness that they were not covering the visit. For how much I pay every month, this is pathetic.

I had the most amazing experience with my insurance representative today I’ve talked to at least 15 and this woman did a phenomenal job. Whoever reads this you need to know whoever wrote my order was amazing.

Update to my review: I had the opportunity to speak with a Select Health Medicare Senior Advantage representative, Janelle Neilson about my parents and my spouse’s Insurance needs. This is the second year interacting with Janelle for our insurance needs. She is absolutely heads above any agent I have spoken with. Janelle is patient, kind, knowledgeable and follows through. Picking the right plan is never easy, but Janelle provided options and Select Health has some really great plans for 2024. So happy with Select Health and their super agents.It’s that time of year again where I needed to call and update my health insurance information so I called Selecthealth individual plans department and spoke with Serena. What a fantastic agent, Serena went the extra mile to help me update marketplace information and find the best plan for me moving forward for this next year. I really appreciate the time she took with me and the patience she had for me. Serena also confirmed my changes with me. It was a really great experience. I highly recommend Selecthealth.

Went to the doctor today just to be told my insurance was inactive. Called my HR it was effective August 1st. I called select health, it just showed in their system that I didn’t have medical and they had to contact enrollment. Enrollment’s system didn’t catch the error until I called in. They manually had to fix it. “It happens sometimes” How many people is this happening to? They had no problem taking the money from my check for my premiums. I was paying for inactive insurance for two months!I had to cancel my doctors appointment, which was to refill my medications. I had to be on the phone/ hold for an hour fixing this. I will be without my medications till November 1st. I asked what they could do it make it right and there was nothing.Gave one star because everyone I did speak with was nice and tried.I will not give other stars because there is nothing to make right my time being wasted, my Doctors time being wasted because I had to cancel and the fact I will be without my meds for two more weeks!

Hi, Select Health folks!If we could, we'd give Meegah 6 out of 5 stars, he was just fantastic and was so very helpful! Select Health itself gets 4 stars for removing our current plan's avail for next year and lowering coverage on the new option provided to us. Nonetheless, we'll stick with you guys for the next year and see how the 2025 plans shake-out. -Very honorable Mention for Amanda, she was also awesome and helped quite a bit! Thanks.

I cannot express my gratitude for their customer service. I had quite a few issues regarding claims and getting my medication that I needed due to insurance changed. They went above and beyond for me to make sure I could get my medication right then instead of having me go without it and dealing with side effects of not having it. I didn’t catch the gals name I spoke to but she was absolutely amazing, and I could not thank her enough with dealing with me and my tears. I genuinely love SelectHealth and how helpful and kind they are

What started out as decent health insurance has taken a slow and steady dive into the gutter. One by one they are pulling coverage for medications that I have been on for years. I am told to go speak to my doctor about alternatives... What alternatives? There are none. You cover NOTHING! It should be my doctor, NOT my health insurance that determines what medications I should be on. What is the point of paying so much for so little. Oh I know... Greed. I'm sure the medications that I need to be on are covered if I want to upgrade my insurance plan to pay even more. They should really change their name to "Selective Health" instead as apparently they can be selective on what medications they will let you be on. By far the worst insurance ever.

Makinzee was amazing to work with! I talked with brokers all day and didn’t understand their jargon. Makinzee broke it down very simply and helped me pick the plan that made the most sense for me. American health insurance is already confusing and misleading, so I appreciated her very candid advice on picking a plan. Her customer service deserves five stars.

Daisy in customer service was literally a breath of fresh air today- talk about thorough and soooo kind- we are the biggest fans of Select Health - their providers and as a company - they have had our backs for years but getting off a call with someone like Daisy just touched our hearts so much. Thank you Select Health! Daisy rocks and I hope someone recognizes her for absolutely superior service and communication skills. Bravo!!!! ????❤️♾️
