“Lowes has been my source for tools, hardware, and other supplies for several years now. I've never had trouble finding what I needed, and was always able to find staff that could answer my questions.
Prices are reasonable, and the store itself is well maintained and logically organized.
The one somewhat negative experience I ever had was a couple years ago. It was February, and a large snowstorm was expected to blow in that night. Since I was running low on ice melt, I stopped in to pick up a fresh bag. When I had trouble finding any, one of the employees told me that the manager had shipped almost all of it away for storage to make room for summer supplies. Only a handful of bags were in the back, and they were all beat up and leaking. I had to drive home holding the best of the remaining bags in my lap to keep it from spilling all over the car. I understand the need for a retail location to have the next season's merchandise up early. But sundries like that should be kept on hand for the season they're needed in.
I have noticed that the front end staff at the cash registers and main customer service desks are undertrained. They can run a register, and sign you up for services well enough. But they don't have the knowledge, support, or authorization to actually deal with any sort of issue.
If Lowes were to increase front end training and do a better job of stocking seasonal sundries, they could have earned that fifth star.”

“I love this place. I had been searching for a great selection of cabinet hardware (big box stores had terrible options) when I wanted an updated look in my kitchen and i stumbled upon this gem and have since recommended it to everyone i hear is refinishing their kitchens and baths or wanting a refresh. It’s also a small family-run business and the owners are so nice. Not to mention the have a play-corner for kids. Come! You will not be disappointed!”

Discouraged we started to look for carpet and were referred to Pro Source by our next door neighbor getting her basement done also. Shane was our first contact, listened carefully to what we wanted, nice, professional, and guided us to a perfect choice of carpet and pad. Smooth transaction, their installer was best we ever had in the 50 years we have lived in our home,( we have had many) and a fair price based on the quality of the carpet and the size of the project. “Just shopped for uniforms for our fifth year. Service was always just okay, however my last trip last week was exceptional. Walking into the uniforms section, I had the sweetest young man eagerly ask if he could make things easier helping me find what I needed. I’m well seasoned when it comes to shopping there, so I excused him and mentioned I’ll find him if I needed anything.
Inventory was comforting, I hate feeling like I have to scrounge. Prices were comparable. One sweet young lady ran back a few times looking for items and never lost her patience in the chaos of back to school or through the sea of frazzled parents and children.
There was a problem printing my receipt and the cashier was so worked up, I assured him I am patient and taking a picture of my receipt from the computer is just fine by me.
Well suited young kids for the job. Kind. Patient. And thankfully, helpful. It was a pleasant experience, especially when back to school shopping can feel soul sucking.”

“I recently visited Home Depot to pick up a replacement set of mirror closet doors after unfortunately breaking one from my first delivery. I have to give a huge shoutout to Jack, an outstanding employee who went above and beyond to help me.

From the moment I arrived, Jack was incredibly helpful and made sure I didn't feel like a burden. He assisted me in getting the new set of closet doors into my car, which was no easy task given their size. When we realized it was a tight fit, Jack came up with the brilliant idea to open the packaging and remove some packing material. This creative solution allowed the doors to fit perfectly in my car.

I had never shopped at this Home Depot location before, but thanks to Jack and his exceptional customer service, I can confidently say they truly care about their customers.
